Summary: Five stars are not enough
Review: If I Should Die Before I Wake was a very stirring and disturbing book. The author made it sound very real. The main character(s?) were very developed. This book is one that will keep you up at night thinking what you would have done if you were in Hilary/Chana's place. I will not soon forget this book. Life-changing.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is one of the most compelling books I've ever read
Review: There are so many books about the Holocaust, the same boring factual books. This book looks at the Holocaust in a whole new, very interesting way. This book is eerie and very compelling, a wonderful read for a dark and stormy night.

Summary: A compelling yet frightening book
Review: In this book, Hilary, a neo-nazi, is lying in the hospital critically injured when she begins to slip into the life of a polish-jewish girl named Chana during WWII. At first, when she is awake, she is angry and anti-semitic in her feelings, but gradually Chana's past becomes more real to her then her own, and when she thinks she(Hilary) is dying, she says the traditional prayer Jews say when dying (Shema). Alot about Hilary seems either vague or over stressed, but I think it works with the way Hilary thinks (in her mind she tends to exagerrate things about others so she can hate them). Her mother seems to be an over religious nut who doesn't care about her daughter, but that is how Hilary saw her. This is a great book and I'd recomend it for everyone.

Summary: Touching- A story you will never foget
Review: I read this book awhile ago, and i still remeber it very clearly. It is tale unlike any other- meaning i have never read a book like this once. The events are depicted so well it's almost as if you are there experiencing the pain along with Chana and Hilary. This is a story i believe should be read- i recommend it to anyone who has yet to hear the vanished cries for salvation of those who perished so long ago............

Summary: An excellent book!
Review: This is by far one of the best books I have ever read. I enjoyed this book so very much because it is a story about World War 2, my favorite subject, and it had somewhat of a twist to it. It is like no other book I have ever read and I will never forget it.

This book is about the neo-nazi groups of today and the hardships of being Jewish during World War 2. There are many books written about this subject, but what makes this one special is that it has two sides to it. One side is from the perspective of Hilary Burke, a highschool neo-nazi in the present, and the other from Chana, a Jewish girl in Europe in the 1940's. Both sides are very different, but in the end they come together. This is a wonderful book.

Summary: The best book I've ever read!!!
Review: If I should die before I wake was the most empowering book I've ever read. And I've read a lot! It gives a perspective from two totally different points of view. Hillary is a neo nzi from the 1990s. She gets in a crash and while lying on her deathbed she goes back in time to a polish Jew going to Aushwich. Her point of veiw is totally changed and a really awesome ending is in store!

Summary: A Five star book by a five star Author :-)
Review: The book Send Me Down A Miricle was a touching story of two girls, Hilary who is a neo natzi suffering injuries from a vehicle accident and Chana the girl that she sees in her dreams. Chana is a Jewish girl who is sent with her family to a ghetto that is run by the Natzis. Then she struggles to survive trough many other hardships that many other Jews went through at that time. I think this book gave me a good perspective of what is was like for the Jews in World War II. I would also recomend The Diary of Anne Frank for the readers who enjoyed this book. Han Nolan does a great job decribing in detail the events in the book. The style of writing makes it page turning!

Summary: An excellent book for studying the Holocaust
Review: As a teacher educator, I applaud Han Nolan for her vivid presentation of one of the unspeakable horrors of the 20th Century, and for illustrating this tragedy with poignancy and professionalism. This is an excellent book for both studying he Holocaust and the depths of human motivation and emotion.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A really powerful, depressing book.
Review: This is one of the best fiction books I've read about the Holocaust. It's really powerful, and exposes how it really was to be a Jew during the Holocaust.
