Rating: Summary: Pricey, but excellent! Review: Goddess of the Night is the first novel in the Daughters of the Moon series, a series that promises to be long. Each book is told from the viewpoint of one of the four (eventually five) Daughters, as well as another character, Stanton. While after reading this one, you're going to want to read the rest, Godddess of the Night has a beginning, middle, and end. It doesn't leave you hanging at the end. It's an excellent book. Vanessa, the viewpoint character for this particular one, is my personal favorite of the Daughters. All of the girls are "cool" and easy to identify with. She is a teenager in LA who thinks she's a space alien because of her supernatural (but not superhero-y) power to turn invisible. It becomes quite a problem in her daily life. She and her best friend, and two other girls, have this ability, and they fight the forces of evil. The name Daughters of the Moon sounded kind of cult-ish to me, but they it gets explained later, and is perfect! The story is a very cool, modern fantasy, targetted at the teenage girl. This book is very short, and takes about a day to read. It's not the best in the series, but it's still worth reading -- and you have to read it to understand the others. Nine stars out of ten. I'd recommend reading it from the library, though...it's quite expensive.
Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: This book was amazing. I was rercommended it by a friend. The minute I started reading it, I was hooked. Vanessa and Catty live in L.A. Pretty, popular, these girls couldn't have more perfect lives, except for their secrets. Vanessa can turn invisible, and Catty can go back in time, and these secrets are really hard to keep even in L.A. Then Catty is kidnapped, and the only way Vanessa can help her is to figure out her destiny. Can Vanessa handle the truth and save Catty. Read the book and find out.
Rating: Summary: This book is fantastical, a little out there, but GREAT! Review: When I picked up this book, I thought it would be a "girl has crush on boy, girl kisses boy, girl and boy have fight, girl and boy make out and make up, book ends" sort of books, but it isn't! It encourages listening to yourself and seeing your personal power. These girls have special powers, fighting evil forces, but every girl does that in her own way, in every day life. I highly recommend this book. It's a very quick read, but it certainly hooks you right in! I got the book yesterday, and I couldn't rest until I finished it! I cannot wait to read the next ones!

Rating: Summary: LOVE IT! Review: Vanessa is a normal teenager on the outside, but she is totally different on the inside. She is constantly forcing herself to remember that while she is kissing the gorgeous Michael Saratoga, that she turns invisible. She and her friend Catty (who can time travel) have special powers. When one of her friends, Morgan, says that a girl, Serena can read minds, she goes and finds out herself. Serena takes her to a woman who can answer all of her problems. Like who's following her, and why can she turn invisible? READ TO FIND OUT! I think that this is one of the best books that I have read. ***** stars for it!

Rating: Summary: Really Cool Book Review: This is a really great first book to a series. I was just looking around the bookstore on day, saw this on the shelf with the rest of the series, thought, looks interesting, bought it, loved it, got the rest of them, can't wait for #8. This book is very interesting. Great book because, while it is fantasy, it also has the girls in real life situations. It's not them leading a perfect heroine life. They've all got enemies, boyfriends (boyfriend problems), and grades. But here's the basic story line. Vanessa can become... , Catty can ..., Serena can ..., Jimena has... Vanessa suspects she's ... Great book and great starter for a great series.
