Rating: Summary: Some ridiculous twists Review: This books is just like watching an episode of Charmed. Intense for the first 50 minutes, then resolve everything in 2 minutes. The difference here is that the twist comes out of nowhere just hoping readers will not notice--but they will. Do not worry, my nature is not to give surprises away. Anyway, the witches go to a circus. Prue has a photography gig, and her sisters pretend to be her assistants. They are not much help when they know Prue hates the whole concept of the circus, especially clowns. Piper runs into Dan and his niece Jenny, who still hopes they will end up together. So the story explores an ancient myth about gypsies--whoever possesses a certain item is in control of the power. When bad things start to happen, it is Prue, Piper, and Phoebe to the rescue. Good reading for fans who are sick of reruns and do not want to wait for the next season (if there is one) to start.
Rating: Summary: not the best Review: this is not the best charmed book as i found it a bit dull and predictable in places but if you are a major charmed fan it's still good to read as it links in more with the series than previous books
Rating: Summary: this was a very good charmed book Review: This was the first Charmed book i read and i admit it's this book that got me into the Charmed world. It starts with Prue gettin an assignment for a carnival so Piper and Pheobe go and they love it!!But then Pheobe gets a vision of Piper being strangled by a handsome stranger. The obvious culprit is Ivan a gorgous violen player. But Prue cant understand it Ivan is charming, handsom and wuldnt do nething like that. The charmed ones have to solve this mystery but how?when the person they need to fight is the person who might strangle Piper i very good book i wuld recommend it to any charmed fan
Rating: Summary: Predictable Ending.....But Good Review: This wasn't one of the better "Charmed" books. It started out OK, but around the middle of the book, it got predictable, and then it just seemed to drag on.Prue has an assignment to take pictures of a circus performer, Ivan. Ivan has an unusual gift of playing the violin, its like his animals are memorised by the music he plays. Meanwhile, Piper and Phoebe (who tagged along) are having a good time, and enjoying themselves. Phoebe then has a premonition of Piper being strangled by a hadsome stranger, and then the Charmed Ones research Gypsy magic, the dark side of it. They then begin to wonder, is it Ivan who was strangling Piper?
