Rating: Summary: Sweep 7 Review: Another exciting addition to the Sweep series. Fans shouldn't miss this one.The story starts off with Morgan having a prophetic nightmare and notifies Hunter. Hunter contacts the Council about Morgan's dream and, to no surprise, the Council sends Hunter to New York city to investigate a mysterious dark coven that practices the forbidden arts of shape-shifting (the origins of Morgan's nightmare point to this coven). Of course, Morgan, Sky, Raven, Bree, and Robbie are there to support Hunter. Once they get to New York, it becomes a race against time. Somebody is calling Morgan through reoccurring dreams to save he/she from impending death. Morgan and Hunter must act fast before someone dies. Two new important characters are introduced--Killian and Ciaran. Killian is a "wild child" at heart and Morgan likes him from the start. Ciaran, on the other hand, fills Morgan with a sense of dread and fear. Can Morgan defeat such a huge adversary such as Ciaran? What will it take? You know the drill: Read to find out!
Rating: Summary: Emotional and a magickal Read Review: Cate Tiernan has done it again! Once again full of magick and very compelling she takes readers on a journey that is intense and satisfying. From reading the other books in the series i never though a book could be as emotional as this one. Secrets are revealed and hearts are broken, I couldnt keep my eyes off the pages for a second. The ending is totally unexpected and very sad but yet still an awesome read. I hope you enjoy it as much as i did :-)
Rating: Summary: Awesome and Emotional Reading Review: Cate Tiernan has done it again! She wrote an awesome, compelling book that just leaves you waiting for more. Everything from the beginning of the book to the emotional ending was just so compelling. What you find out in this book you would never expect, i know i didnt! I hope you enjoy this book as much as i did( i read it in about 3 hrs it was so good). Cant wait to read what happens next!
Rating: Summary: Sensational Review: Cate Tiernan's The Calling was her best to me. This book takes Morgan an an emotional ride down to New York and back. As Morgan learns more about the Craft she also learns more about her past. When Morgan has a prophetic dream about someone in trouble and Hunter is sent by the council to check it out. They go to New York with Bree, Raven, Sky and Robbie tagging along. Morgan runs into a man she knows nothing about, While Hunter and Sky are checking out whatever they find. The man is very powerful and mysterious. But is the man friend or foe?
Rating: Summary: Good Review: I liked this book. It is one of the better books in the series. I like Killian, he is a great character as is Ciaran who has alot of class. I liked the way Bree and Robbie's relationship is growing as is Morgan and Hunter's. I didn't like the way Morgan reacted to finding out Ciaran was her father - "omg I'm the heir to the darkness! I'm somehow evil just because my Dad is!" and then she goes and breaks up with Hunter completely unnecessarily, destroying a wonderful relationship just because she finds out she's related to a murderer. However, apart from the unfortunate ending, I thought that this was a very good book and I'd still give it 4 out of 5.
Rating: Summary: you must read Review: i loved this book! i suggest to anyone wait to read it untill you have book 8, beacause now im dying to find out about it! but i must admitt that morgan is kinnda a wimp, she shoudnt let anyone push her around, she needs to stick up for herself. but just to let all of you know as a true wiccan, we dont have alot of that stuff that the book talks about, its holywood!
Rating: Summary: Just as good as the last! Review: In Cate Tiernan's new book The Calling, Morgan has been haunted with terrifying dreams of animals and magick. When she tells hunter this he senses they might be important so he tells the council of it and they agree. Soon Morgan, Hunter, Sky, Raven, Robbie, and Bree are off on a road trip to NYC (as the city photos on the cover suggests). Morgan is interested in learning what her dreams mean and getting closer to Hunter but neither of those options seem open. Hunter is out looking around all day and no one knows what's really going on. Then without warning, Morgan is thrown head first into magickal mayhem that she never suspected. By the end of the book she has made two shocking revealations that will change her forever. This book was just as good as the last. Once again Cate Tiernan has written a thrilling book about magick, love, and finding oneself. I highly reccomend this book to anyone who has been following the series, in fact I find it nessicary. This is a very important edition in Morgans life and an equally important edition to the series. I can't wait till the next book!
Rating: Summary: Sweep #7 - The Calling Review: Like the rest of the books in this series, "The Calling" was very compelling. If you know the series well enough, it's kind of predictable, but that doesn't make it any less suspenseful. The ending is REALLY sad and shocking. I liked the fact that "The Calling" took place in New York City, as opposed to Widow's Vale - it made for a nice change of scenery and a good atmosphere to introduce new characters.
Rating: Summary: Woo hoo!! Review: Morgan has a starteling dream. It shows someone in trouble. Someone who will die unless she protects them. As soon as she tells Hunter, and he tells the council, they immediately think that they need to find whoever Morgan saw. This leads them to New York. Hunter tells Morgan not to get involved in anything because he doesn't want to see her get hurt by the coven he is trying to find, but Morgan immediately goes off to search for clues as to why Ciaran, her mother's own Muirn Beatha Dian, would kill his very own soulmate. Clues to whomever was in Morgan's vision points to Killian. But when Hunter and Morgan go after the coven, will it be a trap? What will finding the coven reveal? Will it be something that Morgan will regret? Read and find out! I loved this!! But the ending was REALLY sad. I CRIED! But, honestly, this was a really good book. What Morgan finds out is something that you totally do not expect, and leaves you in a daze even after you finish the book. Enjoy!! )))))~~)O(Aurora)O(~~(((((
