Summary: High-tech gaming meets the fantasy quest
Review: Stile is a genius. He has to be. Not only must he win the Tourney, a high-tech contest of skill in both mind and body, but between rounds he must become his alter ego, the Blue Adept, and save his lady love... all this while trying to figure out who wants him dead. Only Anthony would try to weave such a tangled web.... much less hold it for seven books. While this is not blow-me-away stuff, it'll still keep you up past your bedtime... I suggest ordering the first four at one time, 'cause the way this is cliffhung, you won't be happy waiting for FedEx if you don't.

Summary: A must for any Sci-Fi/Fantasy fan
Review: Stile is a serf on Proton, a planet where the all powerful, obscenely rich, Citizens are the ruling class and the serfs are there to serve. A serf must leave after 20 years, unless he can win Citizenship in the annual Tourney.
Stile is also an Adept in Phaze, a beautiful planet where magic is operational. And, Stile, is the strongest magician in Phaze, where he is the Blue Adept.
Someone on Proton and in Phaze wants Stile dead. Forced to enter the tourney three years before his tenure would end, Stile is now crossing between Proton and Phaze seeking the one who is trying to kill him and has already killed the original Blue Adept - his identical self.
Stile has a friend on Proton, a beautiful self-aware humanoid robot named Sheen. She is programmed to protect and to love Stile. In Phaze, Stile has Neysa, a Unicorn with the ability to transform into a woman or a firefly.
The "Blue Adept" is the second book in the Double Exposure trilogy. The first is "Split Infinity" and the third is "Juxtaposition." It is very strongly recommended to read "Split Infinity" first. The trilogy is an excellent mix of Science-Fiction and Science-Fantasy.
I enjoy this trilogy, and have read it three times.

Summary: Riviting view into a tangled skein of a plotline.
Review: The only words needed to describe this wonderful novel are the ones in the book. This writing style is one that goes above and beyond. I honestly could not put it down. (my school grades dropped it was so good)

Summary: A good combination of science fiction and fantasy
Review: This is actually the first book I read by Piers Anthony and I was simply overwhelmed. A good combination of science fiction and fantasy that's hard to beat. To think he created a world where logic and magic work! Get it! Get the entire series while you are checking this book out

Summary: Fantasy and Science Fiction; What's better!?
Review: This is one of Anthony's more serious works when compared to the Xanth puns. The book--the series in fact--has the essence of both Sci-Fi AND Fantasy blended together in a cohesive work that should delight both the AD&D players and the Trekkers

Rating: 5 stars
