Rating: Summary: Finally! Review: Okay, so I read the other three books in the series about three years ago and I was so excited when I saw this book in the store because I desperately wanted to know what happens to Annie and Strat! I read this book in one night because it kept me on the edge of my seat! Yet, in the end, it was not what I thought it would be. Overall, the book was very well written and has a great story, but why don't Annie and Strat end up together?? I felt so bad for Strat, left all alone. Yet I am comfused because the new guy at the end has a watch filled with sand... so is he supposed to be Strat?? I need some clarification!!
Rating: Summary: For All Time Review: This book is one that could be considered the best book for all time. It combindes mystery, romance, and adventure while still intertwining the lives of two teens from two very different times. It is a book that can be appreciated by any love sick person from 11 to 111. This is by far the best book that Caroline B. Cooney has ever written and her books are all fantastic. I would recommend this book to just about everyone, no matter what kind of books they enjoy reading because it can satisfy just about any taste.
Rating: Summary: "For All Time", for sure! Review: This book was great! I have to admit that the beginning was just mediocre, while the ending was the best part (when all the real action took place). To really appreciate and understand this book, you'd have to have read the first three books. Overall, I think that the first one is the best. This story included suspense on basically every page. The ending doesn't feel right to me. I mean, yeah, the ending makes sense and is written well, but personally, I just don't like the end! It makes the reader hope that another book will come out. The ending is okay, but it made me think "ew!" and "cool!". Read it to find out how this series ends! You won't regret picking this book up!
Rating: Summary: For All Time Review: This was the last book in the "Time" series. It was an OK book, but it was confusing, because there were to many characters, and the characters were all from different time periods. The ending happened too fast. I think that this book should of had at least one more chapter added to it, or the series should have another book.
Rating: Summary: Time Travel and Ancient Egypt Blended in an Exciting Book Review: Time travel, ancient Egypt, museums, and the pyramids...these are the things that fill the pages of "For All Time." In the last book of Caroline Cooney's Time Travel Quartet, Strat is working on an archaeological dig in at the Egyptian pyramids, and Annie pleads with Time to take her there. She visits a museum exhibit dealing with ancient Egypt, sure that Time will let her be with Strat. But in the present day, she meets a boy who claims to be a great-great nephew of Strat's...and when Time finally takes her away, she finds herself in ancient Egypt, amid more danger than she thought possible...Caroline Cooney's writing is perfect for this book-brisk enough to keep the reader's interest yet include precise, effective descriptions. The story is told from the viewpoint of many different characters, making it a multi-dimensional novel. I loved reading about ancient Egypt...it made the book very exotic and Annie's reactions to a dramatically different culture were realisitic and at times, entertaining. This book will keep your attention as you "journey" through Egypt and wonder when (and if) Strat and Annie will meet, and if Annie will ever survive the danger in ancient Egypt.
