Rating: Summary: I agree Review: (...) I like this book a lot but I think that it could have been better. It needed more to it, I don't mean more as in pages, just more as in more. Either way it was a good book and I still give Elizabeth Chandler 5 stars because she is my favorite author. Though really it would be 4 and a half. I really think that I like Don't Tell the most of them all.
Rating: Summary: Great Review: A year after her sister, Liza, was murdered in Wisteria, Jenny Montgomery goes to the same theater camp as her sister was attending when she was killed. Jenny has never loved the theater as her sister did- in fact she has stage fright. But she feels compelled to go because she kept telling Liza she would come visit and never did. At camp Jenny is known as Jenny Baird so no one will know that she is Liza's sister. She meets many people, including Liza's boyfriend Mike who doesn't acknowlege that there was anything special between him and Liza, Walker, the director who hates Jenny's father, and several more. After a while Jenny starts suspecting that Liza's murder was not that of a serial killer who murdered random people like the police had said, but by someone who else; someone who knew Liza and wanted her dead. This is the 3rd book in the Dark Secrets series. I can't say I liked this one more than the other books, because they all are great in their own way, but No Time to Die is just as good as the others have been. There were alot of characters that were slightly suspicious and for a while I'd be certain I had guessed who the killer was just to have that change in the next chapter. In the end when the killer was revealed I was suprised. It was interesting reading about the theater too, and the stuff about Jenny's stage fright that the book explained in the end was interesting too. Overall just a good, entertaining read.
Rating: Summary: The Only Word To Describe This Book: AWESOME Review: I absolutely loved this book! Its really good and I think its the perfect book for any teenager to read. Its about this girl that has to go and find out what really happened to her sister at an acting camp so that she can fully understand what happened. The book can get a little intense at some points but its a perfect read on a rainy day.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book Ever Review: I come from Sweden but I've read the book. But the book is swedish here... It's still The Best Book Ever, can't wait till next book arrives, which I hope it will =D If you haven't read all Dark Secrets books:Don't Tell,Legacy Of Lies, you really should read them.. they're awesome !!!
Rating: Summary: Best one I've read Review: I like all of Elizabeth Chandler's books that I have so far read, but this is by far my favourite. I have read it about 32 times now, and it is the first book ever that, after I finished reading it, I turned it over and began reading it again. If anyone should happen to know of an address where fans can write to her, I would love to hear about it. I reccommed the book to all people who can read a word.
Rating: Summary: I liked it Review: i think this was a really good book.legacy of lies was my favorite though. this one was a little different than the rest.its seemed to drag on more talking about her everyday stuff than the real mystery.it did lack something in the writing that the other books had, i can't really explain it though.if your looking for more romance i think she didn't put as much in this book.it spent a lot of time talking about her sister and her investegating everything.overall it was good and i think you should buy it.and i think eliabeth chandler is one of the best writers ever.
Rating: Summary: Could have been better!! Review: I thought this book was good, but it lacked something that the other two had. I don't think Elizabeth Chandler developed the characters enough. In the summary, it says that she hates acting and actors, but you didn't really get that feeling from the book. She was just a girl trying to find the answer to her sister's death. She didn't hate actors and acting, she just had stage fright. It's almost as if there wasn't as much of a danger element in the book as well. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of danger, but the FEELING wasn't there. I think that, ultimately, that's what the book was missing: feeling. You didn't get the feeling that this character was really this way; that they were scared or mad. She just said it, or implied it. The feelings weren't built up.
Rating: Summary: Best one I've read Review: I've only read the first three, but out of the one's I've read in the series this one is the best one yet. There's a definite twist as you discover who the real murderer is and the only bad feelings I have toward this book is that there isn't a sequal! If you ask me, there's definitely room left for a sequal. But that's what I always say. Anyway . . . if you like mystery, suspense, and romance this is definitely a book you want to check out along with the rest of the Dark Secrets series.
Rating: Summary: Another Great Dark Secrets Book! Review: Jenny Montgomery is used to finding things like barrettes and phone numbers for her older sister Liza. But not murderers. It's been one whole year since Liza was found murdered under a bridge in the small town of Wisteria, Maryland. Jenny had always promised Liza she'd come and now she has. Posing under the new name Jenny Baird Jenny enters Chase Collage's summer drama camp, the same one Liza went to only a year before. Jenny being the daughter of two famous actor seems to think she might have gotten some mutated gene. She gets terrible stage fright. There she meets an assortment of people. Brian, the stage manager, who seems to like her a lot. Mike, the guy Liza claims was in love with her and she with him. Paul, who was obsessed with Liza. Maggie, also known as Army Boots, their tough camp mother. And Walker, who is openly hostile towards New Yorkers and especially Jenny's father. But Jenny is quickly learning appearences are not as they seem. While trying to fight an overwhelming attraction to Mike, who keeps denying that he was involved with Liza, Jenny tries to figure out her sister's murder because she's suddenly not so sure it was a serial killer who killed Liza. She thinks it might be someone closer, much closer. Another awesome Dark Secrets book! Elizabeth Chandler is an awesome author.
Rating: Summary: Super! Review: No Time to Die was a suspenseful and well thought out mystery. The constant twists continued to surprise me. I read the book in one day, anxious to get to the end. The author played with themes and symbols well. This was one of the best books I've ever read!
