Review: Dogsong is a great book because it has adventure. The journey begins in the Alaskan wilderness. Russel goes with a dog sled. He meets a girl. Where will he end up next? You will find out when you read this awesome survival story. I give this book a four out of five stars.

Review: This book I am reading is about and eskimo name Russel Suskitt takes places in a dog run in moden way of his way of his village and to find his song about himself. On his mission he has to travel though ice flows, rivers, and mountains on his way through the races. He had a dream about long ago self adventures on his own and he saved a pregnant woman when this race was happening. He killed a polar bear in an ancient way in his dream.

Review: This book was quite stupid in my opinion. Russel, the teenage main character, does just nothing but eat, drive dogs, dream, and sleep. Paulsen made me fall asleep literally. Although I don't read much childrens books, this would be one to forget about, it's NOT worth reading.

Review: The book is about a boy Russell who was told by his grandfather to go north and run away with his sled dogs. Along the way Russell finds that he is having dreams about the future. Also, he finds a woman who is pregnant. He tries to help her. He soon encounters something big. Because he hadn't seen any wild life and he had no food he was forced to go hunting. This story ends with a great ending, well almost.

Review: Dogsong was a great book.I think that people of all ages would enjoy this book.I could not put it down i loved reading of the hunting, and adventures.It was full of hunting, adventure, and friendship.My favorite parts were of the hunting though.I thought that it was really cool of how the boy and the dogs got to know each other so well that the dogs basicly knew where he wanted to go.I didn't have any flaws in it that really made it a bad book.It was a great book and i sugjest that you read it because you will really enjoy it.It is a great book!

Review: "Dogsong" is a great book. It's about an eskimo boy named Russell who gets tired of the normal way of life and wants a change. He goes to a wise old man named Oogruk, who tells him about the way it used to be, the way the men used to make their living, and how they made their own songs of life. Russell becomes interested and wants to make his own song with the aid of some sled dogs. Oogruk teaches him how to hunt, how to find himself, and how to make his own song. Soon, Russell is out in the cold arctic terrain fighting against snowstorms, encountering a giant polar bear, and even rescuing a pregnant eskimo girl, while he hunts for food and makes his own song.

Once you start reading "Dogsong," it's hard to put it down. You'll want to keep reading it to see what happens next to Russell and how he will react to the situation. When you read this book, you'll see why it's a Newberry Honor Award Winner, it's an all around great book for anybody to read. I highly recommend it to anybody that likes adventure books or books about the arctic.

Review: I read this book in school and I thought it was ok. It wasn't a book I would sit down and read every day, but it was ok. The story was sort of confusing because of all the chanting and stuff of that sort. If you like adventure books you might like this but I'd stick to Harry Potter before this. : )

Review: Russel Susskit is an Eskimo boy and something is bothering him. He longs for the old ways and hates how the village is turning towards new ideas. Russell takes his dogs on a journey to find his own song. On the way he discovers many things that will change his life forever. Dogsong is a moving book that teaches you about courage and determination. Paulsen did a great job writing a novel about survival. I would recommend this book to all who are interested in outdoor books.

Review: In the book Dogsong, Russell Suskit changes from a dull boy living in the 19701s to a man living off the land. At the beginning of the book Russell is a normal 14 year old boy who knows exactly what he1s going to hear the minute he wakes up in the morning. Next something is troubling Russell so he goes to see Oogruk, then decides to live the old way. After that he takes the dogs out to run for the first time. Then Oogruk dies and he leaves his village to live the old way and find his song. I don1t want to give away the climax of the story since this book is definitely worth reading. If you like adventure and the outdoors then you1ll love Dogsong.

Review: Dogsong was a fantastic story about a young eskamo boy who is searching for a song he can call his own. On this jorney he must battle the wind, snow, poler bears, and many others.
