Summary: Judy Blume is the best author of teen books EVER!
Review: Judy Blume is definitely the most awesome writer of books about teens! I have recently just finished the book Just as Long as We're Together (for the third time). Being a teenager myself I relate to a lot of the books that Judy Bloom publishes. This has got to be the one book of hers that I relate to the most. This book is about three friends who are around the age of thirteen or fourteen. At the beginning of the book it explains to the reader the great friendship that Stephanie and Rachel have. I really liked the beginning because I was just fascinated with the incredible friendship these two girls have. I loved how Blume described how they are the bestest friends and even when they fight they are still there for each other. I can really relate to that. I think that's why I like it so much. About halfway through the book Stephanie and Rachel have to face a really tough situation dealing with there friendship. A new girl moves in near Stephanie and let's just say they become really good friends and Rachel gets shaded out of the picture. So the girls have to try and deal with their problem and at the same time try not to hurt one anothers feelings which is a very difficult thing to do when both sides believe they are right. I know how that feels and I understand where they both are coming from because I was in a similar scenario. While all this is going on the girls have to deal with family issues, school issues, and you guessed it HORMONES! The end of the book is the best! Don't worry I won't ruin it. Growing up as a teenager is very tough (especially if your a girl... trust me I know) and you have all these different feelings and you feel like your the only person in the world who feels and thinks like you do. Well once you read this book you won't feel like such an outsider (especially us girls). I would just like to take the time and thank Judy Blume for all the spectacular teen books she has written they have really helped me a lot and I appreciate it! HI MS. MARTIN!

Summary: Parents of young girls be on alert!!!
Review: As a mother of an 8 year old who is reading at a 6th grade level, I have realized that I must now pre-read what she is interested in. I feel that Judy Blume did a great job with the younger set books:i.e.SuperFudge. Then she decided somewhere along the way that she needs to introduce young girls to the ways of the world. Chapter 35 did it for me. Young girls are faced with such issues as French Kissing, Being pressured to go all the way and sexual urges. With the following that Judy has it is hard for me to accept that she bends along with the media to promote the normalization of promiscuity among children.I realize that we must all deal with the facts of life at some point...but it is not Judy's place to take nice friendship stories and make sex so commonplace in kids lives. Sorry...we are no longer in her fan club.

Summary: excellent
Review: This novel is an excellent selection to read. It is one of the best books I have read and I really enjoyed reading the novel. As I was reading I realized how much I was able to relate to the situations that occured and that is what kept me reading throughout the whole novel. All I can say is," With a friendship like these three girls, you are bound to get through anything." I especially reccomend this book to young adults or to those who enjoy reading books written by Judy Blume.

Summary: I really think this book is a must read for pre-teen girls!!
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book because it related what happens to people(girls) in the real world to a group of characters in a book. Sometimes when I'm reading a really good book and I catch myself saying, "Been there!" or "Done that!" This book made me think that a lot. I think that any pre-teen girl should read this because it might let them feel that they are not the only one in the world that something is happening to. Truly, I think that Judy Bloom is a great!! writer, and I would recomend this book to any girl that might be going through any hard times or just because!!!!! :)

Summary: A refreshing look on what's really happening in teen's lives
Review: Usually books about teens are fake, not showing wht we really have to go through in life. The book "Just as Long as we're Together" was a real outlook on friendship, how difficult it is to go through in a paren't seperation. This is a great book for people all ages. This has been my fave book of all time (except for a few other books!) I should know after reading 9 times. Trust me, you'll never get tired of it.
