Review: I bought this book last year(I was in 8th grade then)because I thought that its title and cover was pretty good. And I wanted to practise some English. I hadn't got any idea about the book's topic. But as soon as I started reading I realized that I was so right to buy this book. Every teenage girl will find something from themselves in this book. All of us have problems like the ones in this book. It's so realistic and fascinating. I had some problems with my friends while reading this book and I solved them with the help of Judy. I really loved this book! I recommend it to all girls. I think everyone must read it. Because it's fantastic! Besides I cannot believe that it was written such long time ago. I thought about that and found out that good books are suitable to everytime. It was funny to read it. Hey girls I'm telling you! Read it! You won't regret! I didn't.

For years I read it probably close to once a month, and every time it was even better than the last. The first time i read this book, when I was about ten, i read the entire book in one day. That was the first time I had read a book over a hundred pages in a day, but definately not the last. The situation in the book is about best friends fighting the battles of making new friends without losing each other, being able to keep from believing rumors, and to remember what's in the heart. If you are a girl who experiences the traumas of friendship, or if you want insight into how that feels, then I strongly reccomend this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Must-read for all Young Women Review: I have been reading and re-reading this novel for many years and have loved it each and every time. The characters in the novel are just beginning 7th grade, and have just begun to grapple with their changing class periods, their changing friendships, and their changing selves, to name a few. When I first read this book way back in 4th grade, there were parts of Just As Long As We're Together that I didn't understand, but all the same, I loved the fresh, personal voice of the characters. 8 years later, I will be in 12th grade and I can't remember how many times I have read this book- probably at least twice a year. And after all those years, I STILL find this book as touching and relevant to my life as a young woman. All topics that could be relevant to coming-of-age girls are touched upon in this book- friendship, sibling rivalry, family relationships, first crushes; but what impressed me the most was the sweetness and thoughtfulness with which all these topics are covered- thankfully at the same time lacking the pettiness, revenge, and mature romance that are all-too-prevalent in the typical pre-teen novel. I certainly feel that this book is a necessary read for all young women at some point in their lives. This book is appealing, entertaining, heart-warming, and inspiring. This is definitely one of the best young-adult novels I have read- I think of it more like a handbook for young girls, giving them a thoughtful insight into some of the more frightening and confusing aspects of growing up. Just As Long As We're Together is an absolutely lovely book and a must-read for all young women.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Here's to YOU Judy Blume Review: I think this book was very fun to read! I couldn't put it down. One school night, I stayed up until 2:00 am reading it. I admire Judy Blume for expressing the real feelings of the girls in the book. She is not afraid of having them "say" what she wants them to say. It is very interesting and doesn't get boring in different parts like some books that I have read do. I have also read Tiger Eyes, Deenie, Iggie's House, and Here's to you, Rachel Robinson--all by Judy Blume and I love each and every one of them! Thanx Judy!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: She's done it again! Review: Well Judy Blume as managed to make another GREAT book. I am in 8th grade and I am starting to read this book yet again (for the 10th time!). This book is about Rachel and Stephanie who are best friends. Then Alison moves into the neighborhood. Stephanie thinks that they can all be friends but wait until she finds out that three friends is not nearly as good as two together. This book has very unique and quirky characters. There is Alison who thinks that her dog can talk. Alison is adopted. She is Viatmanese. She lived outside of Paris for a while. Then there is Rachel she is a clean freak. She enjoys playing music (if you like her character in this story than you may want to buy Here's to You Rachel Robinson). Then there is Stephanie she is kind of gullible. I would definitly buy this book for anybody, any age.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A teenager again Review: I gotta admit, its been like, 9 years since I read this book, but it sticks in my memory of being one of the best. I really like Judy Blume, and her books were all the best on the shelves on the high school library! It's as if she's a teenager herself and I really look up to that, as I want to write these kind of stories. Strangely, at the age of 21, its hard to take myself back to being 13 again! Realistic, yet feel-good, these books are all unforgettable.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: My favorite book for over 10 years! Review: As an average 10 year old, I read all of the Juudy Blume books, and to this day still love to go back and read them. Call me crazy, but even at 22, I see this book as something I could relate with, something that reflected the world I live in. If only all of the world's authors were as realistic as Blume... Thank you Judy for giving me something to relate to as a child and as an adult!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Good Job Judy Review: I am very offended at a previous reviewer's suggestion that parents "beware" and prevent their children from reading this book. Whatever you are afraid your child will encounter in this novel, they are going to encounter in real life sooner or later. Reading novels such as this where the main characters comfort an older girl who broke up with her boyfriend because he wanted to go too far is a great way to introduce girls to how sex may enter into their lives. The girls are sensible and agree with the older girl that she did the right thing. This provides an example of the strength of sisterhood. Secondly, it teaches compassion for girls who are at different points in their sexual discovery. Should the younger girls have shunned the older girl for dating someone interested in sex, for being more experienced. What does this attitude teach children. That sex is bad and people who have it should be ignored. Girls will sooner or later experiment with sex, whatever they decide to do with their own bodies, they should learn to support people who have made different decisions. Furthermore, this book deals with many more issues than a few sentances about sex! It talks about divorce, adoption, siblings, parents, and most important the way long-term friendships change while growing up.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Best Book in the World Review: I am a huge fan of Judy Blume and this is my favourite book of hers. It's what a girl of 13 would write about and it's v.realistic. All her books are amazing.
