Summary: A Great Book
Review: This book was incredibly nice! I've never read a book written by Judy Blume but know I know she is a very good writer This book tells about life. I think it is like real life because it talks about three ordinary girls that have some problems. Stephanie and Rachel are best friends until they meet a Vietnamese girl named Alison. These friends have to face some problems that can end their friendship. The book was easy to read. It kept me very interested and I didn't want to stop reading it. I think I can compare these friends with the friends I have. I also have best friends but not only one. I also have many other friends that are really great. The story was very realistic because It talked about changes that happen during the ages of 12 and 13 years old. I hope that who ever reads this review will read this book Just as Long as we're together. How I said before it was a GREAT book.

Summary: Just As Long Review
Review: Just As Long As Were Together was a pretty close to real life kind of book. Friends get into fights, right? I found the book a really realistic book. I did because it sounds like most girls' lifes in this world. This book, is about young girls' who are bestfriends, then a girl moves into the condo (I think it was) across a pond from one of the girls. They end up getting into a fight and then become friends once again. They get into so many incidences, and are into this guy that goes to their school. The first sentence "Stephanie is into hunks", kind of caught me off gaurd. Not many books, or authors actually start off a book like that. That's why I thought it would be a pretty interestiong book to read, and boy was I right! Any book that starts off like that can grab your attention and grab you in. I loved this book and I highly recomend it to everyone, that likes Judy Blume or not. It's sophisticated yet, childish, so it's a perfect book!

Summary: this is the BEST book I read
Review: I read this book when I was 9 years old, now I'm 11, and I still agree, this is the best book I ever read. Judy Blume is a great writer and truly knows the hard world of preteens these days. It talks about two best friends but then another girl comes along. Will the new girl be an- odd- girl- out, or will all three of them be best friends forever? Thi spectacular book deals with the troubles and problems of three girls. Be sure to read Heres to You Rachel Robinson after you finish this book, I am sure you will enjoy it, I know I did!

Summary: Honest,real and endearing!
Review: I first read this book when i was 13 and yes,I loved it! It's not hard too see why Judy Blume appeals to such a wide range of people, be it children, teens or adults. Her books are so heartbreakingly honest and funny that you are drawn into reading them again and again.I'm 17 now an yet whenever I come across a copy of 'Are you There God-It's me Margaret' or 'Just As Long As Were Togther' I still smile while reading them. This book mainly deals with friendship and the main protagonist happens to be Stephanie one of my favourite Judy Blume characters who's optimistic, endearingly gullible and naive. However starting seventh grade her life undergoes a large number of changes not all of them which leave her happy. Her parents divorce and the worst part is she never saw it coming, she likes an older boy and makes a new best friend which leaves her other best friend just a wee bit jealous. The transition from kid to teenager is a tough one and no one depicts it better than Blume.Adolescence is a tough phase of life however if you are going through it I suggest you make it easier by reading this book!

Summary: All Hail Queen Judy!
Review: I read Just as Long as We're Together whenI was in 7th grade. I'm now 23 years old and I have to say that I have grown up reading Judy Blume. Just as Long as We're Together was such a great book for me as I began Junior high school. everything Judy addresses in the novel is ultimately true. I cannot believe that some parents are so afraid of such honesty. But then again parents who have to read books before their children do are letting their children miss out on a lot of wonderful novels if they decide that their children are not to read them. At an age where kids are experiencing sex issues at younger ages, books like Just as Long as We're Together by Judy Blume, offer new insight to these issues and often the only advice that some children are able to receive. Thanks judy for helping me through!

Summary: Great book
Review: I first read this book when i was 9 yrs old, i'm 21 now, and i read it again about a week ago. It is still a great book, it's nice to be able to read something easily and still get a good laugh out of it, or to be able to understand where these girls are coming from. When i have children i will def recommend judy blume books to them, she's a wonderful writer that truly can relate to pre-teens and teenagers, and that's something that is very rare to find!

Summary: Judy Blume's best work
Review: This is an awesome book! When I started reading this book I had a hard time getting to a stopping point. I have read most of Judy Blume's books, and Just as Long as We're Together is by far my all-time favorite book she has written. The book is very understandable and organized.
In this book Rachel is Stephanie's best friend. They have shared their secrets, good and bad, since they were in second grade. When Alison moves in, Stephanie hopes that the three of them can be best friends because Stephanie really likes Alison. After all, they have more to share now, including seventh grade and Jeremy Dragon, the cutest boy in junior high. Stephanie is worried that Rachel's talents will get in the way of their friendship. Rachel and Alison have to deal with the changes in their own lives, yet Stephanie is sure everything will work fine Just as "Long as We're Together." This is book highly recommend. If you haven't read this book you need to read it!

Summary: You can have more than one best friend!
Review: This book is about two best friends, Stephanie and Rachel, who have known each other since second grade. Right before school starts, there's this new girl named Alison who just moved in. Once Stephanie meets Alison and gets to know her alittle bit, then she starts to like her and want to hang out with her alot.Alison told Stephanie that you can always have more than one best friend and thats when Stephanie hopes that Rachel, Alison, and her can be best friends. Stephanie hopes that her seventh grade year will be fun with two best friends. Well Rachel gets jealous about Stephanie and Alison hanging out. So Stephanie trys to work it out to where they could all be best friends.

One of the things I liked in this book was how most of the stuff the three girls go through relate to what I go through in life. Some of the stuff they deal with is friendship and school. I like books that have something that I can relate to because I think that it makes the book more interesting if it relates to me.

Another reason why I liked the book was because I learned something from it. The thing that I learned was that you can always have more than two best friends. This book helped me with alot of my friendship's that I have had trouble with.

Summary: Judy Blume's Masterpiece
Review: Judy Blume's infamous book, Just as Long as We're Together, is about a young girl named Stephanie who experiences growing up. For the first time, Stephanie is introduced to everyday problems like, beginning middleschool, family problems and the possibilty of losing her best friend. The devastating truth about why her father moved away from them for a "business trip" in California is an unexpected surprise that will leave you begging for more.

I gave this book a 5 out of 5, but it really deserves a 10 out of 5. Just as Long as We're Together is a mature version of Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, which is also written by Judy Blume.
