Summary: A most wonderfull ending to a hilarious series...
Review: Being a fan of dairy style books (and be even more interested that the main character is male), I was drawn to this series right away. For those you of already familiar with Jonah Black and his daydreaming ways will not be dissapointed in this book.Jonah is faced with new dilemas and problems in his life this time. He has a secret girl talking to him on-line; someone who knows waay too much about Jonah...who is she??? Meanwhile, he is still unable to dive for his team due to the cast and everything..but I won't give anything away... Let me just say that this very unique (and surprisingly funny) style of writing will have you staying up waaay pat your bed time to finish. Just as good as the first three if not better! More books please!!!

Summary: Ahhh, Jonah
Review: Finally, Jonah is able to separate reality from fantasy. It almost hurts to read about Jonah wanting what he cannot have, making a fool of himself. However, relief is provided for readers in the latest installment. Not only does Jonah have closure with Sophie O'Brien, a girl who haunted him in the past three books, but Black founds out who his secret admirer is (Northgirl).

Summary: Fourth and Last Book in The Black Book Series
Review: For some reason, I always have a knack for buying books out of order, like I did with this one. But when I found "Faster, Faster, Faster" the other day in a used bookstore, I had to buy it, remembering it was one of the titles Amazon.com had recommended to me. (Amazon.com rarely lets me down.) Now, after just finishing this book, I'll certainly be looking for the other three. Anyway, Volume IV takes place in Pompano Beach, Florida, where eleventh-grader Jonah Black currently lives with his sexually liberal mother and scary-but-genius sister, Honey. This book/series is set up to read like a diary with date logs instead of chapters, but, as I've mentioned in other reviews about teen diaries, it's obvious this book/series isn't a real one. For starters, it's too coherent. Conversations and details are written in-depth, which would be nearly impossible to do if you were really writing in a diary. But the first-person viewpoint does create a closeness to Jonah, and the use of AOL chats and e-mails are a nice touch, which most young computer-savvy readers will like. About halfway into the book, Jonah and Honey make a road trip to Pennsylvania to visit their father and his new wife, plus check out dorm rooms at Harvard for Honey. Jonah uses the trip as the perfect opportunity to visit his old school and "save" Sophie O'Brien from herself, an institutionalized girl friend who has been plaguing his mind for a long time. It's no real surprise that he's attracted to her; he's a little out there himself, which is obvious right from the first chapter, where he's daydreaming about her while taking the SATs. Jonah is just your typical spaced-out, horny teenage boy, which should probably appeal to the same crowd. I, however, didn't care much for Jonah, probably because 1) I'm not in this age or gender group, and 2) Jonah and his friends reminded me a lot of the guys I knew back in high school, as well as a few that I know now--and, no, they rarely mature past puberty (though Jonah does mature somewhat by the end of this book). Despite these character flaws I complain about, they are what make this book/series work. It's realistic, truthful, and quite refreshing from most of the other teen books out there. The ending is fairly good as well (Jonah finally discovers who Northgirl999 is), but it does leave you hanging a bit, especially since this is the last book in the series.

Review: Hello everyone!! This book was the BEST in the series!! OMIGOD, you wouldnt beleive how much stuff happens..such as...Jonah finds out who Northgirl999 is, a really good pal puts him on the right road to find her, its a real suprise of who it is...i never would've guessed...it kinda gives clues about how someone reading it could have guessed it to be this person, after iu find out who it is your like ' y didnt i think of her?' so..yea its relly good! and another good thing happens between sophie and Jonah, he tries to get his 'doggy walked'! I love those parts...but anyway, i really recommend this book to everyone whose read all of the rest of them...its a good ending...and i hope there weill be a fifth book? =]
(P.S. in the end, Honey doesnt go by Honey anymore, and she meets a really good guy...and and find out what happens between sophie and jonah...who northgirl999 is...and who honey dates and what she changes her name too...HAPPY READING!! =]

Summary: Pretty Good book
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed all the books in the Jonah Black series, right up until the end of the fourth and final one. The author introduced several problems and never resolved them, and I personally don't like books like that. If you do, then this is an amusing and interesting series to read, it just doesn't end the way it could've.

Summary: Jonah when will you figure things out.
Review: Jonah is back for one final telling of his life in his diarys. After the disasterous Walt Disney World trip with Sophie Jonah is ready to get back to a normal life. Or is he? Jonah is now going out with Molly the nut who can't drive well. But he still can't stop thinking about Sophie and what could happen, but those dreams of his just get weirder and weirder when Sophie sends him a mystery package. Jonah's sister Honey is getting ready to go see Harvard and see what is like up there and visit her dad. Jonah decides to go along on this trip in hopes of possibly seeing Sophie. When Jonah goes to try and see Sophie he finds that things aren't what he expected and that possibly it is time to move on and away from Finally after a long time of wondering who NorthGirl999 was he finally finds out and it isn't who you expected it to be. Overall this was a great last book to the series.

If you have a doubt in your mind about getting this book then you should erase it immediately, because in the end you finally understand everything. I'm not saying that you won't still be wishing for a fifth volume once you are done reading, but all your big questions will be answered, and in my opinion they are answered in a good way. So in short I loved it!

Summary: Just One Question: Who Is "Watches Boys Dive"?
Review: These books were some of the best book I've ever read. They're so realistic and keep you wanting more. The fourth book pretty much ties up all the loose ends the first three books made, except for one. The author never reveals who the mysterious "Watches Boys Dive" is. This was one of the mysteries throughout the book, and we never find out? Did I miss something? Jonah found the matchbook she dropped, but it leads nowhere. Anyone have any clues as to who she is?

Review: This book is a one day read. If you've read the other four books this one answers all of the questions. If you haven't read any of the other one start with the first ones then this one. Faster,Faster,Faster is a statisfing read that will still have you asking what happens next.
