Rating: Summary: Don't you dare NOT read this! Review: I thought this book most enoyable. It is about a young, 15 year old girl who's teacher tells her students to keep a journal. If they do not want her to read an entry they will label it do not read. Nearly every time she does not let her read it beacause in this journal she spills her heart out about her issues with her family. This novel has made a strong impact on my life and I loved it thouroughly. Please read this!
Rating: Summary: This is one of the best books I have ever read Review: I thought, Don't You Dare Read This Mrs.Dunphrey was a good book, because it was full of a lot of sadness, but some of the book was also filled with happiness. This book is similar to the book called, Anne Frank's Diary, so if you like that book you may like this one. This book is about a 16-year-old girl named Tish Bonner. She has a terrible life with her mom and brother. For school she has to write a journal telling about her life and how she wishes it is wonderful. Tish's dad comes and goes as her life goes on. Her family has many promblems that she can't solve. Tish's mom always wants her father back even though he abuses them. Next, her mom leaves for a very long time looking for her father. Finally, at the end, it all comes together with a happy ending, but if you want to find out more about this book and the ending of it read this book soon.
Rating: Summary: This is a very good book Review: If you want a fast read, and you enjoy Haddix's books, than this is the book for you. I read this book in a day. It's one of those books you just can't put down. It's about a girl you could call [low class], who has more to her than the big haired, gum chewing airhead she appears to be. When her new English teacher asks her to keep a journal, the truth of her life comes out, and it's only a matter of time before her teacher has to do something.
Rating: Summary: Don't You Dare Read This Mrs. Dunphrey Review: In the book Don't You Dare Read This Mrs. Dunphrey is written by Marget Peterson Haddix. I like this book because it had a good moral to the story. In this book one of the main characters is Tish Booner, she is one of those girls that have big hair, who sits in the back of the classroom passing notes. In her English class she has to warite 3 journal entrys a week for Mrs. Dunphrey. In this book every page is writen as if it was real jounal. Mrs. Dunphrey let her students choose if they wanted her to read it, but in every teens life they have to deal with school work, and a home life too. In Tishes case she had to keep her friends. My opinion about this book is that Tish's family is making Tish grow up ti fast, and making her loose her child hood. After I read this book I felt very happy about my life!

Rating: Summary: It was great because I like to read problem related storys. Review: It starts off when she goes to school and mrs. dunphrey tells the students including Tish that they have to write journals daily. She is allowed to mark the entries she doesn't want Mrs.Dunphrey to read as "Don't Read This". She has to do ecerything by herself because her mom is always so worried about when there father was coming back, which when he did he would come and then go. He was very abusive. Tish has to support herself and her brother (Matt bonner)with her own money from the burger boy when her mom all of a sudden just decided to leave and try to find there dad. When all of this started to happen Tish writes it in her journal marked, "Don't read this", but then when she found out she couldn't solve her problems herself, she told Mrs. Dunphrey to go back and read all of it and it turned out to where Tish didn't have to worry anymore. I think this will really inspire readers to check this out.
Rating: Summary: Great book Review: Lots of people who don't love reading have whipped through this book. It's very realistic.
Rating: Summary: Don¿t you dare read this Mrs.Dunphrey Review: Mgaret Peterson Haddix wrote Don't you dare read this Mrs.Dunphrey. I like this book because it had a good moral to it. In the book Tish Bonner writes in her journal how her life is. She is a girl that needs helps but she doesn't know who to go to. I really don't like her because she constantly complains about her life when she can go to a counselor. I like the brother Matt because he has a big imagination. The mom is real weird because she doesn't do anything for the family. I do not like the setting because it is in a small town. I don't like the plot because it bores me to death.
Rating: Summary: Dont You Dare Read this Mrs. Dunphrey Review: The book "Don't You Dare Read This Mrs. Dunphrey" was great. The author Margaret Peterson Haddix. Every page in it was told as if it was a journal. It was a socialogical social class type of book. It was about a low class family that didn't have a lot of money. The main character Tish has to write 3 journal entries a week for her english class. The teacher said that if she didn't want her reading them to mark don't you dare read this Mrs. Dunphrey. While doing school work she also has to take care of her brother, work, and keep her friends. I enjoyed the book alot although I thought that it kind of ended quickly. It was at the climax and then it just ended all of a sudden. I would recommend it to any kids, boys or girls from 12 to 16. .... Check out this book if you want to know.
Rating: Summary: A 10th grade girl with problems in her family. Review: The book, Don't You Dare Read This Mrs. Dunphrey by Margaret Peterson Haddix is a very interesting book to me. It is one of books that once you start to read it you do not want to put it down. This book is about a tenth grader named Tish that has been asked to write a journal for English in school. Tish was told it would be a big percentage of her grade, but Mrs. Dunphrey says, "If you put don't read this at the top of your entry then I won't read it." Tish takes her word for it and trusts her and ends up writing her whole life in this journal. At the end of the year, Tish lets Mrs. Dunphrey read it. After Mrs. Dunphrey reads Tish's entries, she decides to get help for Tish, who has been abandoned by her parents and has been living on her own with her brother. At the beginning of the book it starts out kind of slow and towards the middle of the book it goes faster and gets better. Towards the end of the book it does kind of drag. The end also frustrates me because I want to know how her life is going to end up and if she made it through life okay. Other than that, this a very good book. If you want an interesting book, READ THIS!
