Summary: My favorite!
Review: This book is truly the best book that I have ever read. I loved I because It was so realistic, and it didn't have people in it who were so "perfect". Even though I cried on practicly ever page of the book, I could not put it down, it really shows how best friends are.

Summary: Great book, one of the best i've ever read!!!
Review: A Time For Dancing by Davida Wills Hurwin is one of the best books I have ever read. It deals with Juliana and Samantha(Sam and Jules)and Jules's histiocyic lymphoma(A type of cancer). Jules goes through sessions and sessions of chemotherapy, and Sam tries to be right there by her side. These two are totally different, yet totally alike in their own, special two ways. You'll get misty eyed at some parts in the story, and laugh uncontrollably at others. It leaves you with feelings you've never felt before, and you will want to share them with others. This is a lovely novel.

Review: This book makes you look at life differently. It really could happen to any of us, and I'm sure almost everyone who has read this had thought: What would I do if my best friend got cancer. One of my all time favorites, that I think everyone should read, definitly.

Summary: Profanity, profanity, profanity on almost every page.
Review: It may be a beautiful story but it certainly isn't what I expect my third grader to bring home from school. And the school's response, "It was on the list of recommended books". After reading your reviews, I can believe it. What about responsible reviews that warn parents (more than the slight reference I noticed in your review). I don't understand how a responsible parent of any child under 16 could recommend this sleaziness over good and available literature.

Summary: This is the most impacting book a teenage girl could read!
Review: I think that anyone who wants to have a greater appreciation for life should read this book. It is wonderfully written and greatly developped that anyone could appreciate it but especially a teenage girl and her best friend. It is so life impacting and wonderful that you WON'T be able to put it down, except for the many times you are reaching for that much needed tissue. PLEASE READ IT!!!!

Summary: This book makes you really appreciate your best friend!
Review: Sam and Jules are the type of friends who seem like they should've been connected at the hip from birth. But once tragedy strikes they struggle to maintain their relationship. The situations presented seem so realistic, and almost anyone can relate to them. The reality comes partly from having characters that are basically just like someone you know from down the street. Being a high school student, I feel like I am in many of these situations right now. I have heard several people call this book a tear jerker. I am not someone who cries easily at anything besides a funeral so I wasn't worried. Boy, was I wrong! No matter who you think you are, bring your kleenex box because you'll need it! This is the kind of book that makes you feel so appreciative of your best friend. I finished reading it a few hours after midnight, and all I wanted to do was run down to my best friend's house only a block away, and give her one of those hugs that lasts forever! The ending is so incredibly touching! Although I would recommend it mostly for high school age girls, A Time for Dancing is a young adult masterpiece with incredible possibilities. I greatly applaud Davida Wills Hurwin and look forward to seeing a sequel!
