Rating: Summary: READ IT. Review: This book is a great ending to the Song of The Lioness. It's really sad at the end, but that's part of the good writing. It all seemed so real. I was very pleased with the people she meets in this story also. READ THIS BOOK!
Rating: Summary: Good conclusion Review: I don't mean to be the only reader that gave this book 4 stars, but in my opinion, it didn't have it all. I started losing intrest in the quartet after about book 3. Book 1 and 2 left me hanging for more, but I kind of lost interest in 3, and 4 wasn't what I thought. It was good, but Alanna and Prince Johnothan make a better couple, and not that George is a good guy, but you know, the Prince kinda grows on you. All in all, I think that this quartet is Tamora's worst, but her worst isn't bad! I like the Immortals and Circle of Magic the best.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books I have ever read! Review: This is wonderful book that ends with a little surprise and a lot of adventure. If you liked these books then you ought to continue on to the Immortals series. They are almost as good as these books and they continue the Lioness's story (but only as a supporting character)
Rating: Summary: TERRIFIC!!! Review: I loved this series, and it came to a logical conclusion. It was just wonderful and Alanna is a believable heroine in a fairly believable world. if you read this book, you'll enjoy it!
Rating: Summary: Super! Review: A great book for young readers! Fans of Alanna and her friends will love this new book that brings a close to a great series. Truly wondeful! I recommend this book to anyone.
Rating: Summary: A worthwhile read Review: I stayed up all night long to read this book. I read it about a year ago, and meant to review it, but I never got around to it. I loved the plot . If you are a Middle Ages lover, such as myself, love action, and fantasize about magic, this is THE book for you. And if you are looking for another series to read, I would recomend Mercedes Lackey's "Valdmar" series (preferably "The Mage Winds").
Rating: Summary: A very good book Review: I love all the lioness books!! This wasn't the best book in the series, but I did like who she ended up with though I wouldn't have liked a few people not to die. (I'm trying not to spoil the book here) The story line was good and the writing and romance too. Overall the book was great. (I read a couple hundred books a year so I should know.) If you are going to read this series, read it in order. It's much better that way.
Rating: Summary: A GREAT BOOK! Review: I really loved this book! I'm not sure if it's the best in the series; I loved all the books in Song of the Lioness. The reading level says it's for age 9-12, but I think some of the things in these books would be hard for a 9 year old to understand.(Especially Alanna falling in love, and ETC.) This is a MUST-READ for all the people who love a great fantasy book.
Rating: Summary: Incredible! Review: I can't express the love I have for this series in general, though Ms. Pierce seems to be grasping a little in the end two books. After all, she has to tie up all those loose ends.I loved these books, specifically this one. Alanna didn't have to be all woman or all warrior; she could have a little romance in her life and still save the world. I'm usually militantly against that sort of thing, but Pierce makes it believable, lets the story flow. This isn't the best book in the series by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a five-star nonetheless. You have to love the effort and the meaning in these books.
Rating: Summary: Hello! Hello! This is the BEST book I have ever read!!! Review: Attention all readers...if you want to get the full value of this book, you need to read the ENTIRE quartet. I have read about 200 books, and I think this quartet was much more intresting than all those classics that I've had the pleasure of reading, and in my opinion this is the Best one in the series! Lioness Rampant is THE best book I've ever read!!! Okay, my turn. I also think that this is the best book I've read in my entire life!!!... so far.
