Rating: Summary: Original Reader Review: I read this book when it first came out however many years ago. My grandfather was one of the contributors to the author and the book was partially dedicated to him. This book was one of those that I have read numerous times. It was also instrumental in my appreciation of History, as I am now working on a Master's in History. I would recommend this book to everyone. It gives an accurate picture of WWII air combat while still being entertaining.

Rating: Summary: great book for any body who likes action Review: I think this book showed alot of amazing character and is over all action packed from begining to end. The summary of the story is this, A teenager of 16 joins the army even though it is highly illeagal. The reson for him doing this is to be a hero but at the end he winds up feeling other wise.
Rating: Summary: Awsome Review: I thought that this is one of the best books i've ever read. Mazer does an excellent job at keeping you reding this book. I'd give this book to anyone who likes war books

Rating: Summary: Wow... I didn't think it would be so good Review: I was required to read this book for my 8th grade unit about WWII. At first, I thought, Oh, no, a book about war and dying and noooo I don't want to read it. But I had to, so I tried to keep an open mind about it. It was one of the best books I've ever read. It was truly moving. The last page really got me.... It was beautifully written, documenting the spiritual journey the young boy Jack Raab makes. This new angle on war made visible the ugly, horrible truths: war isn't about being a hero, it's not about killing the enemy, it's not what you think. It made me see deeper into the true meaning of war. Wonderful read. It has some "colorful" language and some gruesome scenes but it's definately worth a look.
Rating: Summary: The best book Ive ever read. Review: Im a 15 year old freshman in seattle WA. i don't read very much but on the FIRST page I could not put it down. I was reading it for a book report that was due in two weeks. I read the book in every class I had and finished it in 4 days. Im a very slow reader too! I recommend anyono that doesnt like to read much or loves war/plane books to read this.
Rating: Summary: Kid at Caruso Jr. High Loves book and recommends to world Review: It was the absolute best book I ever read. It was about a young kid named Jack and he took his brothers license and used it to become an airplane pilot. His friend Chuckie dies right in front of his eyes and his plane crashes. He becomes a POW and the rest is for me to know and for you to find out. I recommend this to any kid who likes thrillers. It is non-stop and I think the entire world should read the little book called The Last Mission.
