Summary: Superb book and MUST READ
Review: Even though it's historical fiction, it has some serious truth and allows for extreme mental thoughts. In short, it really brings the reality of World War II to you!

Summary: The Extraordinary Last Mission
Review: I am a student from F.L.C. of Mr. Verderame's. My initials are A.W.This book was a very encouraging book because of its insights to the world through the eyes of a 15 year old boy. It was very powerful to me because of its "real-life" features. I mean, that it feels like your actually there and experiencing it all on your own and in your own life. The book really showed me, with enough will-power and determination that you can do just about anything. Jack did everything in this book because he wanted to and not because he really have to. Jack was a great person to look up to and for more information I think you should read this book. I don't want to give any of it away so read it. You could learn a lot by reading this book, not just some stuff about World War II, but about human nature and how it all adds up. This book was an excellent book and also exciting and a little supenseful. I truly loved this book because it was from a teenagers' point of view, who would do anything for the people he loved, and I hope you will too. Thank you very much for your time so that I could tell you about a wonderful book, I really appreciate it.

Summary: A great read; now and then.
Review: I first read this book as a teen in the early 1980s. The whole story is gripping. One really can't imagine what will happen next. The author makes you feel as though you are watching instead of just reading. My favorite part is the last page. It leaves a lump in my throat every time.

It is a good book for a school report.

Summary: Bad Language not suitable for kids
Review: I picked this book in hopes for a story about his life in POW camp. Not a book about ariel gunning. The language was suitable for a person on road rage not for a 10 year old girl. Even though soldiers probley talk like that it's not a childrens novel. If you don't mind vulgar language it's ok. But if you hate curse words don't even pick it up!

Summary: Amazing book
Review: I read this book for the first time when I was in 7th grade. Before this book I had never read a book start to finish and enjoyed it. Books were for nerds and were boring. It only took me a few pages before I was obsessed with this book. I could not stop reading it. I found my self carrying it around everywhere I went and reading it every chance I got. The story is great and has alot of action. I don't know what it is about it that makes it so hard to put down but I know I couldn't until I finished it and read it again. If you ask me this is a literary masterpiece. Forget the whole young adult thing I think it would be equally enjoyable to people of any age.

I recommend it and it would be a great gift to people who do not like reading books. Before this book I hated reading but now I find my self looking for another book that I enjoy as much as this one. The only other book that has come close is Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger which I also recommend.

Summary: Excellent book
Review: I read this book in highschool almost 15 years ago. And I have just recently reread it. From the opening page to the last I was captivated by the excitement and drama that took place. I watched a young boy become a man during a brutal war.
