Summary: Strife
Review: After an incident at one of Kithic's circles most of her coven-mates believe Morgan is out of control. She knows she isn't but how can she prove it. A visiting witch sees telekinetic happenings around Morgan, and knowing her to be uninitiated with a lot of power assumes what seems to be the answer. Hunter, his cousin Sky, and Erin, the other witch, must bind Morgans powers so she is no longer a danger to herself or others. Throughout The Council are searching for Ciaran - Morgan's birth father. When they find him he is in the company of a powerfully telekinetic witch who claims not to need proximity to cause dusterbances - is it really she who is causing the violence surrounding Morgan? And will The Council catch Ciaran and stop him from ever harming Morgan?

Yet another amazing installment in the 'Sweep' saga. I don't think it's as good as some of those before it, but it gets very close! Very Good.

Summary: Strife
Review: After reading the first eight books in the series, I had high "expectations" for this book. I think the thing I didn't like about this book was that the story line was boring. All the other books had a little action in them. This one didn't. Another thing I didn't like was that new character, Alisa.

A short summary for this book is:

Hunter wants to make sure that Morgan can protect herself against dark magick, so he gets her a tutor from Scotland. The all these wierd things start to happen when Morgan is around. So Hunter, Sky, and Eiofe think that it would be best if they put this spell on her so that no one around her gets hurt, and she doesnt hurt herself. Then they all realize that it wasn't Morgan, so they take the spell off her. ....

Summary: I can't wait for the next one
Review: Definitely a great book, but not the best in the series. It wasn't as suspenseful as some of the others were. But I can't wait for the next one because of how it ended. I know nothing bad can happen to Hunter, but I still thought it was sad.

Summary: Not the Best in the Series
Review: I can only degrade this book to four stars, even though it was my least favorite along with the 11th one (somehow I couldn't bring myself to read anything but the prologue and the epilogue.)

Things in this book are started off by a tense boyfriend-meets-parents dinner, where Mary K discovers that Morgan hasn't exactly been telling her the whole truth. Alisa Soto has a problem with Morgan's powers and blames her for the things going wrong. Morgan's parents are deeply upset about her grades. The coven may be endangered. . . Because of Morgan's birth father. Can the trouble be fixed? Will Morgan's dearest friends ever trust her completely again?

Summary: Worst book yet
Review: I didn't like books 6 and 8 in the series, but this book is the worst yet. I think it is almost all down to one character - Erin. I really thought she was completely unnecessary - why couldn't Eoife stay? She was much nicer. I'm sure Cate didn't intend it, but it seemed like Erin was really jealous of Morgan and her power because she was the only one who actually thought Morgan was to blame for all the weird things that kept happening. Neither Hunter Sky or any of Morgan's friends (apart from Alisa) actually blamed Morgan, but Erin got really carried away and wanted to temporarily restrain Morgan's powers (leaving her defenceless may I point out) which I thought was pretty stupid and really unecessary. Also, what was up with the diary entries in this book? - they didn't seem connected to any specific character and the story they told seemed so melodramatic. I thought it was a shame that Hunter was so out of it throughout the whole book, Morgan really needed his defence instead of his mental escapism - why did he just let Erin restrain Morgan's powers like that? I know alot of people didn't like Alisa but I felt quite sorry for her in this book and after reading book 12 she is one of my favourite characters - she adds alot of innocence to the story that had been lost. Another good thing in this book was Sky - she was the nicest she's ever been, for once she actually seemed to like, trust and defend Morgan which was good.

Summary: Okay...
Review: I hate to give a bad review to a Sweep book, but this is the weakest in the series, it's obvious from the beginning what is really happening, and unrealistic that anyone would blame Morgan for the "accidents" It's not awful, but when it's followed with (imho) the other non-spectacular book in the series, Seeker, it wouldn't hurt to skip it. Because the rest of the series is definately worthwhile!

Summary: [bad]
Review: I love sweeps, don't get me wrong, but this book was [bad]. There's not plot or resolution. Here is the gist of the story:

Hunter gets a teacher from Scotland, named Eoife, to help Morgan protect herself from dark magic. All of a sudden unexplain things are happening where Morgan is. For example, books began to fly and things start to fall. Everyone believes that it is Morgan's doing, but Morgan. Morgan believes it is her father who is still at large. Eoife, Sky, and even Hunter, yes y'all Hunter too, decide to do this spell thingie that will help Morgan from hurting herself or others. The spell thingie doesn't allow Morgan full connection with her powers. Soon eventually everyone relives it isn't Morgan causing all the bad things to happen, what a shocker, everyone stand on your head if you didnt relieve that wasnt going to happen. They still dont know who it is but they know its not Morgan's mother either. And in the end Hunter leaves, but i wont spoil the dumb ending (I know your sad that i wont spill the ending).

While this so called storyline is going on, the shift of the story starts going on a girl in Moran's coven. Her name is Alisa. She doesn't like Morgan and Morgan's power. There is something in her life, but no one knows about it. Go figure. Persoanlly I think that Alisa is responsible for all the bad things that have been going on. But, for some unknown reason Ms. Tiernan thoght it would be great to not share with us who caused all the "accidents" (yes, i put it in quotes for a reason) and what is up with Alisa. Come on, Cate Tiernan, did ya leave a part of the story out?????

Summary: i love this series
Review: I love the sweep series and this one is no exception. I liked this one because Hunter and Morgon got back together. Although i have no idea whats Alisa's problem. I think it could have been her all along. cause she happened to be at all accidents and she was the one who got sick. any ways i hope this series never ends so keep it up cate!! (but if it does end make it a good ending and no cliff-hangers please!!!!)

Summary: Ehh..
Review: I personally expected a lot more from this book. My interest has been declining for this seris. I can't quite put my finger on it.
Most likely it's because I feel that the focus of this book has been leaning away from Morgan and towards Alisa. I do not appreciate the fact that Morgan is being disliked by her sister, and how Alisa seems to be the innocent bystander.

I do hope things pick up more, and I do hope the next books will increase my interest to where it was.

Summary: good but not brill
Review: I think this book was good but not as good as the others. In this book a lot of strange things start to happen like books flying around and light bulbs popping.Huter has dinner at morgans at the start of the book so that he can be intreduced to her parents properly and it really sweat in a corny sort of way.
morgan falls out with mary.k. after she tells herabout how cal and selen really died.A woman called Erin who works for the concil comes from England to help Morgan with magickal defences. She thinks its Morgan who is causing all the strange stuff to happen, and as a result of this Morgan gets her powers dulled so that they can cheak. There isn't a lot of hunter in this book mainly because he thinks the strange things that are happening are messages from his parent so he is off trying to prove it, and because Morgan gets grounded for her poor grades. Her parents also threten to send her to a catholic school. What happens next . . . .?
If you want to know then your going to have to read it.Its not my fave sweep book, but its a good read, well worth the money.Expeshily if you are planing to read the rest of the series.!
