Summary: Should be required reading for every teenager--and parent.
Review: Adam's humor pulls the kids in. Dr. Drew's honest and forthright information educates them.

This book would make an excellent gift for any high school or college student. Common questions kids have about anything from masturbation to marijuana use are answered here. It's also a great read for parents. You might be amazed at the challenges kids face today. Educate yourself and you'll be better able to help your children. (It's also a very entertaining read!)

Summary: I want more!
Review: This book is in the talking style that fans of Loveline will like. It gives you a more complete view of where Adam and Drew are really coming from.

If you have ever read any of the self help or advice books, you may get the sense that those books contain theories that sound good, but somehow seem to be pieced together based on some thoughts the author had -- almost as if someone who really didn't know very much decided to throw together a book. In contrast, this book by Adam and Drew comes from the trenches and these guys have a complete grasp on what they are talking about.

If I ever have a kid, I think I'll just slip this book into the bookshelf around the time they are 12. If I tried to push it they might rebel, but if they found it on their own and realized some of the things in it were about sex, they would probably sneek it into their room and read it cover to cover. The book has such great advice, that's exactly what I'd like them to do.

PS - This book (and their show) deals mainly with problems people have and how to avoid them. That's great, but I wish they would take as their next challenge a discussion of how people overcome problems. It's too easy to say, "Don't have children." I know Drew helps people all the time in his day job. He must have more to say about overcoming problems we were not clever enough to avoid.

Summary: Dr. Drew and Adam are... Gods(?)
Review: If you love the show, you'll absoluetly love the book. It should be the textbook for junior high school sex-ed classes. The information in this book is invaluable for any human being -- it answers questions that everyone wants to ask but may have been to afraid to. It may read a little too fast for those who are familiar with the show. Although, Adam's right... where are the pictures?

Summary: Funny and informative, a lot like the radio show
Review: This book is pretty much the best of the radio show "Loveline with Adam and Dr. Drew." If you enjoy the radio show, you'll probably like the book as well. Unfortuneately, you may recognize a lot of the material if you are a fan and regular listener.

Summary: Adam and Drew rock!
Review: If you like Loveline the radio show, you will love Adam and Drew's book. Adam's commentaries on the finer points of life are hilarious. Drew provides the compassion and insight that is so often missing in health-care professionals.

Drew is like the doctor you wish you had. Adam is like the big brother you wish you had. Together they are amazing.

The book is cheap. The book is priceless. Get the book and read it. This is the Christmas present all my dysfunctional family members are getting this year--like it or not.

Summary: This Book was great. Funny, enlightening and informative
Review: I Love This Book By Dr. Drew Pinsky and Adam Carolla with Marshall Fine. I have watched Dr.Drew and Adam on MTV and heard them on the Radio. This book is not like either. It offers a different look at both of these pesonalities and their view on sex, drugs and Rock and Roll. This is an important book for Teens and their parents to read. Kind of a guide book for a generation. It is a "must have" book on anyone's shelf. Not only will you learn, but you will laugh while learning. That is the best way. Marshall Fine captured the true voices of Drew and Adam which made it a quick and easy read.

Summary: Amazing
Review: I found this book to be amazing, because Dr. Drew and Adam know how to be honest. It's nice to read a book that isn't politically correct for a change. They really have an amazing understanding of people and really make you look at your own life and the choices you make in a whole new perspective. This book has helped me tremendously and I recommend it to anyone.

Summary: These people don't get it
Review: This book is as honest as it gets. Adam and Drew are extremely good at reading people, trends, patterns of behavior ect. The Amazon Description of this book is extremely biased and the quotes are taken out of context. Most of the people who hated this book are so afriad of the reality that Adam and Drew offer. That being said, I recommend you listen to loveline, the radio show to get the true feel for what these two are saying.
