Summary: A guidebook to life--enlightening and entertaining.
Review: This book is as close as you will find to a handbook for modern life. Dr. Drew and Adam Carolla answer questions about relationships, sex, drugs, mental health and life in general in an entertaining, insightful way. The book is written clearly and organized by topic which makes it an easy read and a useful reference.

Dr. Drew and Adam are an unlikely pair who share an original chemistry. Dr. Drew, a board-certified physician and addiction medicine specialist, provides easy-to-understand, authoritative information on a variety of topics critical to every human. Adam Carolla, a radio personality, comedian, actor and former construction worker, provides the wit, charm and humor that make even the hard answers easy to swallow.

Learn what Adam believes a cat can teach men about handling women. Hear Dr. Drew separate the myths from the truths about sexuality. Read Adam's rules about who should be banned from having sex. Listen to Dr. Drew's advice on abuse, drug use, STDs and many, many more topics.

This is a great book for parents to use to initiate discussions with their kids about these difficult topics. If you can't bring yourself to talk to your kid, at least let Dr. Drew and Adam do it. They bring a sense of moral conscience and responsibility back to relationships.

Summary: Common sense from two "real" guys who have heard it all...
Review: I listen to Dr. Drew and Adam's radio show all the time. Every now and then, as they are dealing with a caller's problem, they make a point or impart some common sense that makes me think, "YES! They're exactly right. I wish EVERYBODY could have heard that last piece of advice!"

The Dr. Drew and Adam Book is a comprehensive collection of all those priceless nuggets of advice that I wish EVERYBODY could hear. Therefore, I think EVERYBODY should buy this book. It's content is served up in the "Complete Idiot's Guide To..." style, so even a fourteen year old with Attention-Deficit Disorder won't be able to put it down. There's lots of interesting sidebars, input from celebrities who have been guests on their show, etc.

This book is like Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus... only it's funnier, shorter, more practical, more hip, is about more than just relationships, and just better. The government should buy this book by the millions and make it required reading for all high school freshmen. Adults (especially parents) will love it, too. And it's cheap!

Summary: What A Joke!
Review: This is the crummiest book I have read in a long time, all it is is a bunch of Loveline shows typed up and put between covers. What a couple of pompous jackasses they are in print. Adam's humor is best heard and not read. Without his sarcastic tone of voice and lots of time to explain himself, he just sounds like a moron and a bigot. Doctor Drew sounds like a dork who is so full of himself. Reading this book just brought home to me how empty and silly Loveline is. The signal-to-noise ratio is very low, maybe one or two useful things get said during the whole two-hour show, and the rest of it is just the ragging and whining and bitching between the Adam and Drew, or else shameless sucking up to the celebrity guests shilling their latest crappy album or sucky movie. That kind of thing is funny for a while but it gets so effing old pretty quickly. Don't believe me? Try reading this book, and once you see their idiocy in cold print, see if Loveline doesn't start to sound as lame as this pitiful crappy book.

--a former fan who has grown so tired of your guys bullsh--.

Summary: Very very very very good book.
Review: There show is amazing, along with this book. Adam is simply a genius and Dr. Drew backs him up with even more genius. They are both awesome and Adam Corolla is one of the funniest men alive. Fun to read if you're having trouble with love, or just for fun.

Summary: Exploiting the Abused for Cheap Laughs
Review: It's because of fans like Mr. Ciccolini (below) that I've grown to despise Loveline. The show's crypto-racist hosts continually pander to the white adolescent moronic bigots who make up most of its audience, inviting severely damaged people to call in for medical advice, only to hold them up as objects of contempt for the amusement of their listeners. The advice these two arrogant creeps pretend to offer to their pitiful callers is usually trite, banal, and sometimes dangerously wrong. Any "help" Pinsky and Carolla do manage to give is far outweighed by their cruel treatment of teens who have already suffered plenty of abuse in their lives and are now made into national laughingstocks. (...) Loveline long ago ceased to be a public service offering useful advice and has now become another sad symptom of our sick, cruel, exploitative popular culture.

Summary: Dull, just like the authors
Review: Dr. Drew has been making a career trying to pawn off healing advice to the general public. I wonder how he would analyze a doctor who is so full of himself that he thinks he can analyze someone on the phone within 2 minutes and give possible life altering advice.
This book isn't intended to help anyone or enlighten you, it is just an attempt for the authors to cash in on 15 minutes of fame. There is nothing here useful, just 2 ego driven psuedo authors trying to make money. Avoid it, unless you have absolutely no self confidence and actually buy this mass media drivel like a mindless droid.

Summary: Adam is GOD!
Review: People that give the loveline book bad reveiws are dumb liberals, and all liberals are dumb, who can not aknoledge the wisdom of Adam and Drew. Liberals are to politcally correct, they can not handle the truth. I mean the truth about the races

When Adam admits how certain races are mentelly inferior, you know its true but you cant have the courage to say so. You know its true but you are afraid to say so. When Adam jokes about the holacost, you know its good but you have to pretend that you care about apeerances. you know that its really a good thing after all (you know who runs the government, and Adam does to.)

Thats why Adam is a hero because he says the truth about the races that noone else has the guts to say. Adam you rule and stay on the air even if those liberals and races try to kick you off. Your race politics are to importent and need to be voiced. Superior people like us have to prevale. Italians rock! Adam is Il Duce come back, another Italian hero! Italians rule!

Summary: Tired of being ripped off
Review: First Cracked, now this. I'm tired of paying good money and getting crap in return. I'm a recent fan of the Loveline show and wanted to get some more in-depth coverage of issues that Drew only touches on during the show. Sadly, neither this book nor Cracked provides that. I'd go so far as to say that we actually get less here than on their radio show. There's no excuse for this because while Loveline is free, these books cost good money, so readers expect a little more in return. I think it's depressing that a healer and good samaritan like Dr. Drew would produce crap like this book and the equally empty Cracked, in an attempt to rip off his devoted, trusting fans. I would like to return both these books to Amazon for a refund.

Summary: A Lifesaver in a Sea of Retarded Sexuality - THE BEST
Review: I've listened to thier show for about 8 years, and thier good advice and perspective have saved me time after time again. In this confused and degenerating nation they are a rare blessing. Offensive to many humorless, brainwashed puratins yes, but the advice they give helps many a lost soul out of the dirty gutter of confusion. It's a shame what kind of sickness we foster in the good old U.S.A. - so good to know that these two saints are getting us to stop taking ourselves so seriously and see clearly.
This book is everything good about thier show in portable format. Why doesn't someone sell their radio shows on CD?
