Summary: Indepth, powerful characterizations.
Review: Janie's two families at last seem at peace after she is reunited with her blood family after years of disappearance as a kidnapped child. Her father's stroke leads to some new revelations for Janie - and a dangerous mission to at last uncover the roots of her kidnapping. Especially recommended for any who have read the prior two novels about Janie's difficult choices, What Janie Found contains depth and powerful characterization.

Summary: um
Review: i didn't really care for this book . Although I do like the book that Caroline B. Cooney has writen . She is a good authur , but this is not the best book she has wrote . Out of 'the face on the milk carton ', 'whatever happened 2 janie ',the voice on the radio ',and what janie found', I would have 2 say that 'whatever happened to janie' was the best book . so if u r 2 buy this book make sure to buy the other book in this series .

Summary: Watered-down tease of a conclusion.
Review: My interest in this book was high because of the build-up of the 3 other(mostly)fine books, and desire to finally KNOW something of Hannah's fate kept me immersed in the book until the end. Still, lots of frustration here: it's essentially a rehash of the earlier material, with a complete vanishing of some characters & a pointless emphasis on a cartoony, annoying girlfriend who is meant, I believe, to represent the callous outside world. I don't know. I feel disappointed in this pat, over-simplified wrap-up of a fascinating, flawed, believable bunch of decent people. Cooney may have wrung all the "good stuff" out of it. In that sense, I'm glad this is the conclusion, as it seems time for a rest.

Summary: Why did trees have to die for this book?
Review: I had the great fortune to check out _Face on the Milk Carton_ and _What Happened to Janie_ at the same time. I was thrilled with _Face on the Milk Carton_. I couldn't wait to read the next book. I liked the second book but not as much as the first. I went to the library the next day to get _Voice on the Radio_ which the library was processing and it wasn't on the shelf. So I had to wait until it was on the shelf. That book was really not interesting and not really needed. However, _What Janie Found_ is merely a rehash of the three previous books...an advertisement for readers to want to find out what happened in _Face on the Milk Carton_. My first response after reading _What Janie Found_ was to throw the book across the room. What a waste of time. Janie has never been the greatest problem solvers and that's what made her real. She was impulsive. Now, all of a sudden, she's making some really adult and politically correct decisions. Nothing credible in this book. If you need to read it, wait until the library has a copy and check it out...unfortunately I bought my copy and have now donated it to the library book sale.

Summary: Wonderful conclusion brings Janie full circle
Review: I loved the first three books and I wasn't disappointed in the conclusion to the series. Janie, her brother, and Reeve figure out what Janie has to do to come to terms with what happened to her. I thought Janie's resolution was realistic and the ending made me cry. The only bad news is that Janie's story is over; this is the last book in the series. Highly recommended by me!

Summary: Disappointing
Review: The day I found out that this book was available, I went out to buy it, because I really loved the other 3 in the series. What a let-down. I felt like the whole book was just a synopsis of the other 3, and I really hate it when authors of a series do that. Finally, at about the last 2 pages, Janie, Reeve, etc. all decide abruptly how they will handle the dilemma-and the book's over. The end. I spent 16 bucks for this book, finished it in an hour, and returned it. It would have been a total waste of money if I hadn't. If you really must see what happens to Janie, wait for a paperback. It's not worth the hardback price.

Summary: Yes. Another Janie!
Review: I've read this book. It was very well written, to me that is. It's sad that Reeve and Janie aren't together, but they get back together in the end! Hehe. This book is full of adventure, suspence, romance, and it's just mesmerizing. You can't put it down until you've finished it. It is really a good book. It ended just the way I wanted it to. It was a very happy story. And Janie shows a whole lot of emotions in this book, as she always does in the other books. This book will surely please you. It sure pleased me. And it only took me four days to finish it!

Summary: A Disappointing Conclusion
Review: Caroline B. Cooney weaves a fantastic tale in her conclusion to Janie's story. But the closure for Janie and her family was not the closure THIS reader wanted. (If you don't want to know what happens, don't read on....)

Hannah is never caught or confronted. Hannah is never made to pay for the pain and suffering she caused to the Johnons and Springs. I would have much preferred to see what happened if Janie did meet up with Hannah, rather than having Hannah remain elusive.

Summary: The conclusion
Review: This well written, excellent book really gives a conclusion to the Janie saga. While some sequels are not as good as the original, this one is. It has all of the adventure of the first three books, plus more. Anyone who reads this book can really get sucked into Janie's struggle, from the beggining to the last page.

Summary: Very cool....another Janie!
Review: This book is very interesting. Janie goes looking for lots oftrouble, while her father in conneticut is in the hospital. Shedoesn't trust anyone...(well hardly). This book is interesting. In this book, Janie is more concerned about Hannah than before. She is trying to find her....what will happen? (This is for me to know and you to find out) Ok? Well, I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. END
