Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Why does everyone like it so much? Review: When I first started reading this book, I had lots of people in school come up to me and say that it was a great book. I was only about a quarter of the way into the story, and found nothing interesting, nothing special about the story. I figured it would get better. I didn't pick Izzy, Willy-Nilly myself. In fact, I would have never gotten it. My friend said it was the best book she has ever read. The back sounded really boring, but I got it anyway. There was nothing original about Izzy, and in fact she was one of the worst characters in a book I have ever read. Even villains in novels have more interests, dreams, and a whole more intriguing personality than Izzy. I expected this book to consist of maybe flashbacks of the awful wreck and everything- but Izzy told the crash in a pretty short story right at the beginning. Um, okay. That idea was gone. I didn't really want to read on, since there was nothing to look forward to. But I had to for school. Yes, I feel for disabled people, but Izzy was not a good symbol for their plights. All she worried about was not being a cheerleader and looking weird. Oh, and did anyone hate Mrs. Lingard as much as me? All she ever talked about was makeup and how Rosamunde (which was by the far the best character, but still not *that* interesting) looked and dressed. I was waiting for Izzy to bash her, but alas, it never happened. Don't waste your time on a book that spends too much time on how people look. I'll make sure to keep my distance from Cynthia Voight books.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wow, what a book! Review: I loved this book! I liked because the character developed nicely from beginning to end. In the begining after the accident Izzy was so depressed, but as she became better friends with Wilemena, she recovers quicker. Her best times are with her. It is also sad though because her three friends are treating her really poorly. I really feel that this is one of Cynthia Voigt's best books ever! Thanks Cynthia for writing this so that I and others can enjoy it!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Simply Amazing Review: This book was the best that I have ever read. It portrays the life of Izzy so well, I began to laugh and cry along with her. The reality of this book, gave me a sense of happiness, because I now know how unbelieveably lucky I am. Izzy is my hero, there is no better way to understand the true meaning of life than to read this book. I picked it up and didn't put it down until I was finished. I recomend this to everybody. I loved Izzy, Willy-Nilly
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A great story of how a tragic changed her life Review: This is about about a girl named Isobel (Izzy) who was in a car accident. The other person who was in the car accident, that was driving betrayed her. Her friends don't come to visit her in the hospital, and everyone is treating her strangely. All she wants back is her old life, but she can't have it. She has to work for it. This is one of Cynthia Voigt's best books.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The best book I've ever read! Review: Izzy Willy-Nilly, was a very moving book. It touched my heart with the way Isobel survived her tragic car accident. It's a book I recommend for any reading level.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wonderful book, even greater ending Review: This book was assigned to me for an english project. At first, I didn't want to read it, but as I got further into it, I really enjoyed it. There are girls like Izzy's friends at my school, most of which are my friends. And there are also girls like Rosamunde too. My friends were always making fun of those girls, and I never really liked it when they did it, but now I stand up and tell them to stop. Izzy was an extremely strong girl, and I admire her strength and persistence. The ending was ESPECIALLY good when she told Marco what she thought of him. It was good that she told the girl he was talking to what he was really like so that he wouldn't hurt her too. I strongly recommend this book. It's truly wonderful!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This was an amazing, sad and inspirational book! Review: I read this book, Izzy Willy Nilly by Cynthia Voigt and I absolutely loved it more each time I read it! It shows you the things that you have to put in to perspective in your life-what are your morals and who are really your true friends. Izzy learned valuable lessons after her accident-how not to judge a person by how they might appear on the outside but really look at them and see what they are like on the inside. I think this idea was illustrated beautifully in the story about how in the beginning she never bothered to get to know Rosamunde because she wasn't "cool" enough and seemed like a weirdo. But when she got to really know her, she saw that there was more to her and they had a valuable friendship. This book was amazing and you have to read it!!!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Tragic, very moving. Review: This book broke my heart. Izzy was so strong, she knew how to really cope. Keep up the good work, Cynthia.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Izzy Willy-Nilly is a very tragic book Review: Izzy Willy-Nilly is an outstanding book by Cynthia Voight, who has written many books including Dicey's Song, a Newbury Award winner. In this book everyone Izzy knows thinks she's getting better from her car accident, but she really is not. Eventually Rosamunde gives her courage to go back to school. Izzy knows it will be tough but she gets through it. I'ts a great book about a person learning to cope with changes after a major accident. Everyone who reads this book should learn from Izzy's misfortune to never get into an automobile with someone who has been drinking.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: An incredible Story Review: I loved this book!I think most people like it for all the diffilculties Izzy faces and eventually over comes but what I epecially like is how she evolves as a person too. Before the accident she's a little bland, a little to shallow. After the accident she relizes how superficial her freinds are and learns to stick up for herself too. A must read.
