Summary: Keeps you on the edge of your seat!
Review: I read this book last year when I was in the 6th grade, and it is one of the best books I have ever read! It is a wonderful, well written mystery that I think people of any age will enjoy! The whole book keeps you on the edge of your seat, and I couldn't put it down until I was finished!

Summary: Dreary
Review: I am a fifth grade teacher, doing this book as a literature set with my class. I am working hard to get the plot across to my kids -- it is opaquely written and hard to understand. Though the main character is a child, it is difficult for children to relate to him. I would not recommend this book for children younger than middle school -- if at all. You'll reach the end and think, "So?"

Summary: Mysterious and Fun!!!

Summary: This book was horrible.
Review: The book was a crime against the sanctity of novels. My child, who was currently in the fifth grade was forced to read this book for his reading class. He constantly came to me complaining about not understanding it, so I was forced to have to read it for him. It was terrible. It was written for fifth graders, or so it says, but I do not think it was meant for them in one bit. His teacher tries to introduce symbolism far too quickly to the children by giving them this book to read that says it is for fifth graders. Please inform teachers that this book is for students who are older. Other than that, the book was alright. Nothing special. Thank you.

Summary: NOT AS GOOD AS I IMAGINED!!!!!!!
Review: This book is good, because it's full of mysteries and yes, I do wish there's a tunnel in MY house. I mean, the mystery in the book is good, but not all of it. See, it's sort of boring, but not as bad, and not as good. I couldn't say it's average. So if you read my review, I guess it won't make you read, and won't make you NOT read. Okay?

Summary: This BOOK IS A PAGE TURNER
Review: A little boy named Thomas moves into a former Underground Railroad house where the blueprints to it were never found. There is an old man who lives in those tunnels that knows where each one leads to. Thomas decides to explore around and in the tunnels and also the house. This is truly a great book I would greatly appreciate if you would read it to see for yourself!

All he knows is that there is adventure everywhere from the time he finds the secret passage way under the stairs to the time he finds out the old caretaker is not a devil. Summary: SUPER MYSTERIOUS BOOK
Review: The House of Dies Drear is a freaky book but I liked it a lot .I thought Thomas was very brave when he pushed the button by the front door and when he went through the tunnels.
