Summary: Cal and Selene are gone
Review: After the events of the previous book, Selene and Cal have fled. But if they have fled, who is working dark magic in town? And what is the evil presence Morgan ran into? These are questions Morgan wants the answers to and ones that Hunter is bound to discover.

But, while the hunt for evil goes on and Morgan is not sure who to trust, Morgan's final refuge is in trouble. The witch store Practical Magic may be forced to close. Now what will Morgan do? There is even trouble for Aunt Eileen and her new house.

A very interesting story as we see Morgan begin her recovery from previous events as well as learn more about Hunter and Sky (some very interesting revelations there).

Summary: Awakening shows many things.
Review: Awakening starts off quickly.
Morgan is seeing more of Hunter and it annoys her a little. Morgan and Hunter are still gun powder touching a flame. But every thing starts to simmer down when weird things are happening to the both of them.
Morgan sees more of friends and learns dark secrets that she does not want to be part of.
I especially love this book more than some becuase soemthing happens that makes you either smile from ear to ear or make your jaw drop. Read it!

Summary: One step closer to the truth
Review: Cal and his mother are gone. Morgan wants to forget them, but knows she never will. She feels like such a fool for not realizing the truth earlier. Then one night, she senses the use of dark magick. Have Cal and his mother returned-or is she just being paranoid? And what will she do when kids harass her aunt and her aunt's girlfriend in their new neighborhood? Dark spells may tempt her over to the other side.

Summary: Morgan doesn't know who to trust.... including herself.
Review: Cal has betrayed Morgan. Has tried to kill her and has used dark magick against her. She doesn't know who to trust. She's now friends with Bree again, and Hunter is now leading Cirrus, like his cousin leads Kithic. There's something going on between her and Hunter, but even though she denies it it gets stronger everyday. Practikal Magick is being forced to close do to a debt and David's Aunt Rosaline dieing. But, mysteriously, the man closing the store 'comes into money' and forgives the debt. Morgan and Hunter know that dark magick is being worked, and they are trying to find out who before something disastrous happens.

Ugh, I did NOT like the cliffhanger in the end. *sigh* Now I gotta get a hold of the sixth one. These are awesome books, and I love the whole story. And that was sad when those guys were destroying Morgan's aunts and her girlfriends house because they are gay.

Summary: Recommended to Parents who can?t get their daughters to read
Review: I purchased the Sweep series for my 13 year old daughter in the hopes that maybe she would read. "She hated to read." Well I was amazed, and could not get her to go to sleep, as she would spend the whole night, with a night-light on reading these books. She enjoyed them so much, and could not stop talking first about Cal and then Hunter, that I had to see what all the fuss was about.
Well after two weeks, a book a day, for a girl who hated to read, it sparked my curiosity, so I started reading, and was surprised to find out how enjoyable a Teen book about Teen Witches could be. I am not really into Wicca, but these books are really enjoyable. I am on my fifth book, and my daughter read each twice, and is know on the Circle of Three Series. I have to highly recommend these books to those parents who can not get their daughters to read. These are excellent stories, full of fantasy, horror, and fun.

Summary: Love these books!!!!
Review: I've only recently begun reading these books, now when I think about it, I should have read them earlier!
I can relate to Morgan. She has a best friend who gets alll the attention, has low self esteem, and isnt considered a 'popular' girl. Neither am I. This book is so cool because she is trying to accept her new identity and learn to live without Cal. When she fell in love with him, she was happy. Then he betryed her. Used dark magick against her. Tried to kill her! I mean, you have to agree with me, he was a really nice guy. And in some way, he does love her. And I know she loves him. Anyway, this was a great book and would make an excellant movie.
Thanks for your time,
Elizabeth M. Short

She also slowly starts to rebuild her friendship w/ Bree. Then she finds out that Practical Magick is closing due to money problems. Then she finds out tht dark magic is being used. Summary: They just keep on getting better!
Review: In this book (Awakening) Morgan has been torn out of a world where she understands anything and is forced to another place where nothing makes sense. Still suffering from the betrayel of Cal and Selene, Morgan is very stressed and emotionaly vulnerable. And when she discovers, Pratical Magick, her sanctuary, is in danger of closing. Morgan is horrified. And now her coven, Cirrus, is also changeing. Without Cal to lead it a new leader has to step up. And Morgan is shocked when she learns who it is.

Wow! I thought after Dark Magick the books couldn't get any better but it obviously has. Awakening is filled with suspense and mystery. And Morgan's possible realtionship with Hunter remainds me so strongly of Night World's (the series that pretty much started the whole teen supernatural/romance genre) Mary-Lynette and Ash. I wonder how Cate Tiernan can top this one! I can't wait till spellbound comes out.
