Summary: Okay
Review: It was okay, but NOT Creech's best. She could have done better than that. The characters had pretty good personilities. This is the 2nd Sharon Creech book.

She ends up going to an american school there. She makes tons of friends there, like Guthie, Lila and Mari. When she is there having all the friends makes her feel like she's right at home again. And the good part is her Aunt Sandy and Uncle Max are the headmasters for the american school.

Summary: This Book Will make you Think
Review: I like this book a lot, for quite a few reasons. The characters are clear and real. I can really relate to Dinnie and Guthrie and all the rest of them. I love the setting! I've always wanted to visit Switzerland and Italy. And even though the plot might not be overly exciting, it's ...human. i guess the main reason I enjoyed the book as much as I did is because it made me think about, well, everything. Bloomability is a fun, interesting book that's (I think) really worth reading.

Summary: Bloomability
Review: Bloomability struck me as a remarkably unique book. I love Sharon Creech and all of her books. I'm not sure I have a favorite. This particular one made me think more than the others. Although my life couldn't compare to Domenica Santolina Doone's, some of her thoughts match mine. Domenica is "kidnapped" by her aunt and uncle and taken to Switzerland. She goes to a school there and makes lots of friends, two of which are Guthrie and Lila. Guthrie is someone who loves the world enormously and expresses it all the time, while Lila is a very difficult person who complains a lot. Even so they're all friends. What I loved most about this book was the way Sharon Creech phrased Domenica's thoughts and feelings. For example, Domenica feels like she's in a bubble, seperated from the rest of the world. Creech divides sections of Domenica's life into "her first life" and "her second life." I think it's amazing how many well thought metaphores and similies she includes in this book. She also includes some of Domenica's dreams, a very nice addition. Bloomability is a quick, interesting, and entertaining read.

Summary: Of Mountains And Memories... a SPECTACULAR book!
Review: I loved Bloomability! This book was so beautifully written, the reader feels really connected to Domenica "Dinnie" Santolina Doone, a young girl from a problematic family that almost always is on the road. All of a sudden, she is "kidnapped" by her Aunt Sandy and Uncle Max (whom she hardly knows) and finds herself in an American boarding school, where she meets interesting people from across the globe and discovers dozens of "bloomabilities" inside herself. Ms. Creech, in my opinion, is an absolutely wonderful and descriptive author who lived and taught at The American School in Switzerland herself. Reading it as one who has made a few big changes in my own life affected me profoundly.

Review: "Bloomability" is an excellent book. Read about afictional girl, who's life changes as she moves on. She is sent toSwitzerland by her parents with her aunt and uncle. She learns someItalian and hears it almost everyday. She stays there for about a year and she starts to think about home. She heard her sister had a baby, her brother got in serious trouble, and what else? I reccomend this book to people ages from 9 to 15.
