Summary: Wow!!
Review: I was really surprised when I read this book. My librarian reccomended it and usually we don't really have the same tastes but it was really good!! My new favorite book! It's about a girl who's family moves from Kentucky to Virginia to North Carolina to Tennessee to Ohio to Indiana to Wisconsin to Oklahoma to Oregon to Texas to California to New Mexico by the time she is 12. Then her aunt and uncle "kidnapp" her and take her to an international school in Lugano, Switzerland where her uncle is the headmaster. I've already read this 2 times and am going on for 3 this year. It's the best book I've ever read.

Summary: As Guthrie would say, "Such the best!"
Review: I absolutely loved this book. I borrowed it from the library because the setting was Switzerland, and I am very interested in Switzerland and Germany. It was fabulous! It is a story about Dinnie, a 13 year old who is "kidnapped" by her Aunt and Uncle and taken to Switzerland when her Uncle is the headmaster of a school. She doesn't want to be there at first, but later she is sad to leave! She meets friends like Guthrie, Lila, Keisuke, Belen, and Mari. They bond as friends and have adventures in the beautiful land of Switzerland. The only thing I didn't like was that the story kind of had that ending that left you wishing your hardest for the story to go on. I would like to buy this book sometime, and suggest you read it!

Summary: AWSOME!
Review: I first bought this book for a kid's birthday and I read the first cahpter. I had wanted to read it since and I FINALLY got it for my birthday last year. This is the first Sharon Creech book I've read and it is excellent! I like humorus books, not depressing ones. This is HILARIOUS! Sometimes I can sort of agree with Dinnie. An excelllent read!

Summary: Bloomability
Review: I had to read this book and do a book report for school. At first I said to myself "oh no, not another book." but after I started reading sbout Dinnie and the goings on in her new Switzerland home I got into it. I would stay up late and read a quarter of the book at a time. The characters in this book are just so interesting. It is fun seeing the world through someone else's eyes and learning about stuff that go's on in our world that you didn't know could happen. This is a great read and I encourage people of all ages to read this book.

One day she is "kidnapped" by her aunt and Uncle and taken to a boarding school in Switzerland where her Uncle is headmaster. Can Dinnie survive the crazy differant students from all over the world? Will she make any friends? This book has a surprise at the end so you have to read it! Trust me!

Summary: love it!!!!
Review: Bloomability is a great book for all ages. It has a very warm and exciting feel. Sharon Creech has many wonderful books: Walk two moons,Absolutaly normal chaos, and many many more!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Brilliant Piece of Art
Review: Bloomability was a brilliant piece of art! This is definitely Sharon Creech's second-best title after Walk Two Moons. The character, Dinnie, is smart, brave, and blatantly honest. She'd make a good friend for anybody. Excellent idioms, metaphors and unusual references dot the book along with light humor. But as Dinnie migrates from America to Switzerland, her whole personality changes: at first she was defiant and angry, but as she adjusts to a truly new place that does have real "oppurtunities," she can make friends and learn more about how life works in general.

Summary: Bloomability is Fantastico!
Review: This is a wonderful example of a girl learning how to come out of her private bubble, her screener, and learning to love the world. As you can tell, at first she isn't happy about being there, but her Aunt and Uncle are quite patient and unnderstand her, helping her put out roots in this new land. Her friends; espically Guthrie, the life lover and passionate natrualist, help her to come out of her bubble and experiance life for how it is, to its best abilities. You will feel peace when you finish this book, your mind going over and over your favorite parts, thinking about Lila, and repeating the avalance in your head. I dearly hope to see a sequel, or at least a note in some future book about an Aunt and Uncle or Godparent improving that someone's life in some way. This book left me with the feeling that life is indeed fantastico, Viva viva libero!!
