Summary: Excellent
Review: I read this book about years ago. I loved it. Switzerland sounded so beautiful and Deenie was so interesting. I also liked the character Gurthie. Its a fairly easy book ,but I like it. When I read the cover and it said something like "I'm starting my second life" I thought it was something about reincarnation.

Summary: The best book ever!
Review: This book is wonderful in every aspect! It has a greatt setting: Swizterland and the Alps! It also has lovable characters, like Dinnie and Guthrie and the whole gang, whom the reader gets attached to by the end of the book. The story is really good, and it is written from the perspective of a 13-year-old girl moving from the USA to an American boarding school in Switzerland, for what her parents call an "Opportunity". Will she accept the oportunity? Find out all her funny, exciting, thrilling, and touching experiences as she dives headfirst into a new life. It's one any avid reader can't pass up. READ THIS BOOK!!!!

Summary: Bloomability
Review: Bloombility is about Domenica Santolina Doone. She gets kidnapped but it is by her aunt and uncle. They called it kidnapped because Dinnie had no choice. Her family always moves from one place to another because Dinnie, which is Dominica, has a father that works for everything such as a painter or a builder. This gives a chance for Dinnie to be able to live in one house and haven friends at one school. Do you think Dinnie would be able to like it and stay there? Seeing different kinds of cultures at one place? I liked this book because it's not like any other book I've ever read before. I also enjoyed this book because it shows how Dinnie reacts to this change of place and family.

Summary: BORING!!!
Review: This is an exceptionally boring book. Since I've read other books by Sharon Creech (Walk Two Moons, Chasing Redbird: Totally recomend them!), I thought that this would also be good. Boy was I wrong! Nothing happens. The girl moves to Switzerland. She goes to school. She meets people. That's it! No action, no real plot. Just rambles about some chick called Dinnie!

Summary: this book rocks!
Review: Domenica Santolina Doone: Not your average name. Not your average person. Domenica Santolina Doone, nicknamed Dinnie, is a one of a kind person. Moving almost every six months, Dinnie has become adaptble. She doesn't like that about herself. Finally, her aunt and uncle come and "kidnap" her. They take her to Switzerland, where she begins her "second life" and a much more exciting one!

Summary: Great Book
Review: This is my favorite book. I have only read it six times since I bought it two years ago. Sharon Creech is one of those authors who have a way of writing that makes you go on reading without putting down the book till you finish it. I personally relate to Dinnie which makes the book a lot more interresting and I have also just discovered the beauty of Switzerland and have gone to most places she goes to in the book which made me read it again. I think Sharon Creech should write a sequel to Bloomsbility.

Summary: THIS BOOK [IS BAD]!!!!!
Review: This book was definitly NOT one of the good books i have read. The book just keeps yammering on about Switzerland and some girl named Dinnie! I was forced to read this book for the 6th grade summer reading project. It was so boring i could only read 1 minute at a time! So dont waste your time and read a different book!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: disappointing
Review: If you want to read a good book by Sharon Creech, choose WALK 2 MOONS not this one. NOTHING happens in this book. It is boring all the way through. Don't waste your time here.

Summary: Bloomability
Review: Bloomability is about a girl named Domenica Santolina Doone, better known as Dinnie. Dinnie's father is always finding new jobs all over the country, so all her life Dinnie has had to move around a lot, to different states and different "opportunities". But when her Uncle Max and Aunt Sandy come and "kidnap" Dinnie and take her to Lugano, Switzerland (Uncle Max is the new headmaster of an international school there), this is one opportunity that Dinnie really doesn't want. Although she is used to moving, Switzerland is a different country, and she will be far away from her parents and the rest of her family. Dinnie thinks that she will never adjust to her new life, (or her "second life" as she calls it), but soon she finds herself fitting in at the school and having lots of new friends from all over the world. However, Dinnie keeps remembering her family and she longs to go home and see them all again. To find out what happens to Dinnie, read Bloomability, which is a good book. It taught me a lot about international schools and Switzerland. I would reccomend it to anyone because it's a good book.

Summary: GREAT
Review: I thought this was a wonderful book. It was a very relaxing, though interesting read. I would reccomend it, but not to those you like action and adventure. I found the book to be very well written and in a way that keeps you wanting to find out more. This book was great!
