Review: Inside the Walls of Troy was a fantastic book! It really pulled me in as soon as I was done with the first page. It is a book that is both educational and fun at the same time. I learned a lot about the Trojan War and about how women were looked upon during that period of time. It gave an inside look on how women felt during the Trojan War.

She gives life to her characters and portrays them in different ways, helping you understand the hardships of the women of the Trojan War. You won't be able to put it down.

Review: I would like to commend Mrs. McLaren on yet another fantastic book. Ok, so maybe it was her first but still, it was a fantastic book. I saw the battles from the Walls, I saw Cassandra's struggle too save her family and people, and her rejection. I sympathized with Helen, and her desperation as the war raged around her and she blamed herself for the deaths. These women, some of the lesser known heroes of the Trojan War, were brought together in the first, true odyssey of the war, but they pulled through and went on. This book is truly awe-inspring and deserves the 5 stars above this review.

Review: I am 12, and as a school project I read this book. My teacher had a passion for the Greek myths, so he thought this was a good book to read. He often read Homer's books to us. It would mostly talk about men and their involvement in the Trojan War. I was supprised and grateful that Clemence McClaren potraied a womens point of view of the Trojan war, and can't wait for her next book! She came to talk to us about what the book was trying to get the reader to think. I think that the book was trying to tell us that the women suffered too. Sometimes their consequences were grater than the men's. I highly recomend this fantastic book and see for yourself the inside of the walls of Troy.

Review: Everyone that is interested in the Trojan War should read this wonderful book. Ms. McLaren writes beautifully and really makes it sound as if she was actually on the Walls of Troy, observing the war and writing it all down as it happened. Her words are extraordinary and make the book come alive. People of all ages should read and enjoy this great and beautifully well written book.

Review: Inside the Walls of Troy is an interesting and exciting book. It is a great retelling of the Trojan War, and it's characters. The storyline is well told, and easy to follow. I thought the description of the events and people were imformative and clear. The story was narrarated by Helen, a beautiful Spartan woman who was captured by the great Theseus of Athens. Helen's beauty was a stunning curse that followed her. This book is a real thriller.

Review: This book was amazing and very interesting. McLaren explained eveything really well. With vivid descriptions and a good plot this book was her best one yet. It was an honor to meet her and she was very kind and patient. She explained to us all the joys of writing and how she came up with the idea for this book. She has made me very interested in Greek history and Mythology through this book. I enjoyed reading it very much and i hope all you readers out there try it out and enjoy it :)
