Summary: Sad and touching story
Review: This book is really good. Not very many books get to me emotionally, but this book did just that. After I finished reading it, I had tears in my eyes. It's really touching and really makes you realize you can't take the ones you love for granted cuz they might not be there tomorrow.

Summary: A touching story
Review: I just finished reading "A Summer to Die", it was a touching story, one that made me, a person who never cries, cry. The Ending and everything, was very surprising. This story is also written in first person, which helps you realize how the character felt and thought. If I were you I would buy this book, it will be one of those you can read over and over again, and cry over it every single time too!

Summary: Short and sweet!
Review: I first read this book 2 years ago, during the summer I was about to turn 14. I identified with many of Meg's feelings, although I don't have an older sister who's ill. Her eclectic friends-all adults-were interesting. She had an almost nonexistent relationship with kids at school, and school itself wasn't very important in her life. The ending is blatantly obvious, though. Still,I love this book and reccomend it to anyone!

Summary: An extremely touching and memorable book...
Review: I read this book many years ago and became completely immersed in it. The story was so well written and moving that it has had a truly lasting effect on my life. I am 23 now and it remains to be one of the few books that still evokes feelings and emotions simply by thinking of it. I could hardly wait to read it then and can hardly wait to read it all over now. I highly recommend it to a person of any age - it's message and values can be appreciated by adults and children alike.

Summary: Deeply touching
Review: This book touches on real feelings we all have: mixed feelings about our families, self-esteem, and the heart of it all, true love for one another.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Emotionally strong book
Review: I remember reading this book in 4th grade. I had no idea it would touch me so deeply. I myself have a older beautiful sister, so I related so much to young Meg. It made me realize that life is so special and you shouldn't take anything for granted...especially your family. This book is a great inspiration and I recommend it to all ages.

Summary: A Summer to die
Review: I've read "A Summer to Die" a million times and I've loved it more and more each time. I think it's a beautifully written book and Lois Lowery did a great job. It would be a mistake to miss out on reading this book!
