Summary: Deathwatch
Review: Deathwatch By: Robb White

This book is an excellently written novel about two kids named Ben and Madec who travel to the dessert to hunt. They were friends until they start hunting with each other. This book is and action, adventure, and journey. This book isn't boring if you like action books. I recommend this book to people who like books that you can't stop reading because something is about to happen. This book is like that because you want to know what is going to happen next. If you like action books, then you would like this book. I liked the part when Ben was on the rock and was watching Madec drive the Jeep with all the stuff (guns, food, water, and clothes). Ben is trying to think of a plan to get the Jeep and clothes and leave back to town.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: This book is fair but not too good
Review: First part was good but later Ben must survive to get a sheep for Madec. Then it drags on. In the middle of the book it only tels you words of the scenery. I don't reccomend this book except for those who like surviving in the desert with scenery words.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Survival is easy for DeathWatch, in this killer thriller!
Review: Ben is a college student who desperately needs money to go to college and get a good education. To get the money he needs he has to assist a cold hearted man named Madec in shooting bighorn sheep in the harsh desert. Ben tries to remain calm and keep his cool through Madec's temper and rage. All seems to be going pretty well, except when Madec causes an accident that never should have happened . Ben is blamed for the accident(which you will find out later, I don't want to ruin the book), and is caught in playing a deadly game in which he has to survive and fight to live. Wondering if Ben would survive kept me reading and turning the pages, wondering what would happen next. The details are very well written and the two characters are very different and have their own personalities which makes the book very interesting. The suspense will keep you reading this book, and if you like survival books, like the Hatchet by Gary Paulsen(which I also recommend) I would recommend this book. It certainly kept me on my toes to the very last page.

Summary: This book is worth the time you spend reading it.
Review: This book is good because it contains all the elements of a good book. It has excitement and suspense it always made me want to read the chapter after chapter. I would recommend this book to people who like a light suspense somewhat action book . This book is just too good to pass out on. This book is about a college student named ben who was suppose to guide a hunter named Madec to a rare animal specie. While on there way Madec kills a man by mistake. Madec tries to convince Ben that it was an accident and they should not tell the police. But Ben refuses on his offer to not tell the police. So in return madec makes him take of his clothes and walk back to town naked. But thats not all. Madec watches his every move and if he makes a move which madec doesnt like he will shoot at him. If you want to know what happens next buy the book and read it. This is a good book.

Summary: The desert heat should burn this book to ashes.
Review: The conflict of this story is between to characters, Ben and Madec. Ben is a risk-taking college student who works in the desert as a guide. Madec is a mean hunter who lives in the city. When Madec accidentally shoots someone, Ben is forced to run away from Madec. Ben is in the desert with no supplies or help.

The middle of the books drags on. The ending makes Ben seem really dumb. This gives the book two stars. In favor of the book, it had a strong beginning and some good details.

Summary: This is wonderful book of suspense for YAL readers.
Review: I'm an English teacher and my classes thoroughly enjoy this book. Even non-readers find a level of interest that keeps them engaged. How can I find the TV movie of the same name that was shown in 1972. Help! I've been looking for years now.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent suspense, adventure, and survival all in one.
Review: I am 34 and finally purchasing my own copy of this outstanding book, after having read it 3-4 times when I was younger. It is a tale that drags the reader in - you can't put the book down until you find out what will happen. The writing is excellent, and this is a book that will appeal very much to boys as well as girls. No matter how old you get, this story doesn't loose it's attractive. It is just a remarkably creative and absorbing adventure of survival.

Summary: DeathWatch
Review: I have just finished reading the book DeathWatch, and i have to say that this is a very good book. Normally, Suspense novels put me to sleep, but this book had an element that kept mr reading: the desert. I am fasinated by the desert and that is why this book was so good. The only thing this book lacks is that there was to much dialouge in the beginning. There was also block of nothingness in the middle of the story. Nothing was going on. All in all, i enjoyed the story.
