Summary: Deathwatch
Review: I would recommend this book to someone else because it's one of those suspence-thriller novels that would keep you reading from the first page to the end of the book in one sitting. The book make me realize the little things that we take for granted like suntan lotion, a bottle of water, cooked food, and a bar of soap.

Review: This is an excellent book. By the time you've finished it you'll have descovered that it shaped your mind intelectually. Makes you a sharp reader. Very easy to get into and to read.

Summary: YAWN.....BOOOOOOORING, WORST BOOK EVER!
Review: This book is sooo boring and hard to follow. The plot is so outrageous and stupid and pathetic. I had to read it for Advanced English class, and all the children in my class agree with me that this was the worst book we ever read.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Boring
Review: This book had suspense, but it was still boring, it was really predictable at times, and a lot of it didn't add up, some things, especially descriptions were way off.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: intense adventure from start to finish
Review: suspenseful, thrilling, and a over all great book if your into Adventure / Survival. There are only two main characters in the book but who's counting when there's this much action. Ben... is a college student looking for some money and also a tracker for animals. Madec is a crazed animal hunter looking for some big horn sheep. Madec finds Ben in need of money...turns out they find each other and go on a adventure. This was one of the best books I've read this year. It had a few graphic moments but those parts brought out the thrill. I highly recommend this book to anyone who searchs for survival adventure type books.

Summary: An Amazing Book A+++
Review: Deathwatch is a story about a boy named Ben who takes a job as a hunting guide, in order to pay for college. Madec (the man who hired Ben) has a license to kill longhorn sheep. He hopes to bring down many of them. The setting is in the southwest desert. Things go wrong, Madec shoots a man and Ben is blamed for it. Suddenly, the tables are turned. Ben is chased like the sheep he helped hunt with Madec. He ran from the armed men running and climbing giant rocks. Finding out if he got away kept me interested in the book.

I recommend this book because it's very suspenseful. It kept me interested right up to the very end. It's one of those books that you just can't put down. I also like it because the main characters (Ben & Madec) have total different personalities.

Summary: Not Bad. It kept my attention
Review: Deathwatch by Robb White is a easy book to read with a great plot. "The cruel, life-draining environment forms a strong background for the dramatic struggle between 'mighty opposites'"

It's a story of survival, when Ben serves Madec (an evil charecter from the city)as a desert guide to obtain thousands of dollars in return, which Ben wants to use for college. While in the desert, a terrible accident occurs, and Ben wants to do the right thing and report it to the sherrif (about 50 miles from where they were). Madec, in fear of the authorites, tries to persuade Ben from the obvious, and bribes him with thousands of dollars. Ben refuses, and Madec turns into a Madman, and the story goes on from there.

I found that the story had a great intro. In the middle of the book, though, I found myself skipping words and flipping pages. Also, the ending of the book portrayed Ben as a person contrary to the charecter he was in the greater portion of the book.

In essence, DEATHWATCH was an attention catcher and kept me "on my toes." I read it in about 4 hours. It was a great plot, and had some great ideas, but all in all, it got a little flowery in the middle, and lacked a good ending. I still reccomend this book, though, to younger readers.

Summary: Mr.Lieb's Review
Review: Over all the story was boring how ever it did have a few exciting parts such as him being chased by a herd of Rams and had no place to run to. And also when he woke up and he had been biten by a snake and his leg was swollen. I would not recommend this book to a friend because I think that it would not be exciting for them. I give the book a four star rating out of a five star. It did not have enough excitement in it to keep me interested.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Horribly Boring and No Suspense
Review: The beginning was so-so, but in the middle hundred pages nothing happened, at all. There are a ton of loopholes in the plot, and the synopsis was just an excuse to have to guys duke it out in the desert.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Deathwatch was Amazing!!
Review: Deathwatch was one of the most amazing books I've ever read. I didn't know how mean one man could be to another until I read this book.
