Summary: Boring
Review: this book is about a do good, desert guide who crosses hairs with the wrong hunter and ends up fighting over the accidental death of an old prospecter they thought was a bighorn sheep. Ben being a weak young man is of no compotition for the whitty hunter Madec. After the argument ben is left without food water or even clothes to walk through the desert to eventually die. Not only that but Madec is on his tail the whole time making sure he finds no food or water. The only Ben has to defend himself with is a slingshot. After Ben finds water he goes to capture Madec. After successfully doing so he turns madec in and the police don't belive Bens far fetched story so he is the one imprisoned. finally when the police find bens slingshot they realize the truth and arrest madec( well sort of).
I gave this book 1 star because it was too wordy. It explained too much about the scenery and it seemed madec would not have needed a guide because he knew the desert well enough to know where all the water holes were. This book also gives hunters a bad name, making them out to be mean violent people who will do anything to kill their game. I didn't enjoy reading this book and I don't suggest you do either, unless you enjoy slow, wordy books.

Review: This book deserved five stars because it was full of stratgy and always kept you thinking. I dont enjoy reading that much, but I accually wanted to finish this book. I thought that the book was a little to in depth but in the end it wouldn't have been as good if they didn't. It was like reading a book based on the survivour show but a little more violent. The book had some action alot of stategy and some drama. The book is mainly about a boy that takes a man on a hunting trip in the desert. The man accidently kills a desert dweller. The man doesnt want to take the old man back to town for fear of jail time or even prison. The boy wont let it happen like that and tries to take the old man into town. The man holds him at gun point and makes him get naked and run. The man follows him all through the desert until the boy out wites him. The boy takes the man and the dead man back into town. It turns into a case against the boy.

Summary: The Hunted
Review: Ben is a college student who needs money in order to go to a second semester of college. He accepts a job as a guide who hunts big horn sheep in the desert. Ben is hired to show Madec, the antagonist of the story, around the desert. Madec accidently shoots an old prospector in the mountains, thinking that it was a big horn sheep. Madec then lies to Ben, telling him that he had killed a young female sheep. Ben finds out that it was accually a person and tells Madec that they have to go report this to the sherrif. In fear of losing his life, Madec forces Ben to take off all of his clothes. Madec leaves Ben to wander the desert without food, clothes, and most importantly water. Ben hides from Madec for a week or so until he found water and was reenerized. Ben overtakes Madec and ties him up and drives back into town. Much to Ben's surprise, Ben is put in jail instead of Madec. There is a small trial held with the local authorities, and at first, it seems as though there is no hope for Ben. In the end, everyone realizes what Madec did to Ben. I feel that this book was outstanding. It was intense and suspenceful. This is the best book i have ever read and would recomend it to anyone.

Review: ben is a student in college. he needs money for second semester in college. he is hired to go hunting bighorns, which are a type of sheep. madec kills an innocent man. ben knows he needs to report the accident to the police. but madec has something else in mind. he tortures ben by taking all of his clothes off except his unerwear. he tells ben if he makes through the desert, he's a lucky man, but he doubts that will happen. ben doesnt think he will make it. he decides to risk it by going back to madec at night. madedec starts shooting. will he kill ben? is there going to be a trial? read the rest and you'll find out. if you are a mystery freak, you betta go git this book and you will be amazed!!

Summary: Deathwatch, The Story of One Man's Survival
Review: This book was just absolutely amazing. It wasa hard to believe the amount of detail in this book. I would recomend Deathwatch to all of those who love an exciting adventure/survival story. The struggle between the two main characters (Ben and Madec) is like I've never read before. Join Ben in his survival in the desert with no clothes, water, food, weapons, or contact with others. This book is sure to get you to keep reading all the eay to the end with it's suspense and intensity. Don't miss this exciting book!

Review: This book is an action packed story about a college student, Ben, who needs money to pay for another semester at college. He is hired by Madec, a cruel hunter, to help him hunt bighorn sheep. When Madec shoots something (i dont want to give it away) that he isnt supposed to, the trouble begins. Madec and Ben both have different views on how to deal with the "shooting incident" and since Madec doesnt want to report their incident to the authorities, like Ben wants to, Ben becomes the hunted.This is a great action-packed book that you can't put down!

Review: I think DeathWatch is a great book. It feature a lot of action squence. It's about a young man named Ben who needed money for another semester of college and a man nameed Madec who offered him a job. The job is to help him hunt big horn. At the desert Madec kill an old man and now he's hunting Ben. If you love action books this is one of the best. I really enjoy this book and I hope you will too.

Review: Deathwatch is a suspenseful book that I enjoyed. The book takes place in the desert around the late 1960's. Ben is a college kid that is going out hunting with a guy named Madec, to pay for college. Ben does not have much money. The problem in this story is that Madec frames Ben in such a way that Ben either doesn't tell anyone or dies! Madec has stripped Ben of everything, leaving him in his underwear in the middle of a desert. Think this is tough, try surviving with a man trying to hunt you down with a gun! The author made this book very suspenseful, wondering if Ben would get out alive. The theme of this book is the classic battle between good and evil.
