Summary: Great series ... except for #7
Review: I love(d) this series. I started reading it five years ago, and was hooked. I bought each book the second it came out.

Then came "Other Side of Dawn".

I was truly disappointed. This book had one of the hollowest endings I'd ever read--and I'm sorry I had to say that. Somehow, their friendship survived an entire year of Hell--excuse the pun--then crumbled so quickly, so unrealistically.

If you liked "'Dawn", great. But I didn't.

Summary: amazing
Review: I read this book years ago when it first came out, i am now a dedicated reader of this series. An empowering book as it tells the story from the view of teenage kids who rise to the challenge time and time again. A great series for people who love a book that you cant put down, or for parents who are looking for quality books for their young teenage kids.

Anyone who doesn't like this book should go and see a psychiatrist because I rekon the whole series are seven of the best books ever written. LONG LIVE ELLIE AND HER MATES!!!!!

Summary: Fantastic book that deals with many issues
Review: The Tomorrow siris is fantastic! It deals with an issue that we in Australia heve never had to deal with before, in real life. It also deals with teenage problems and ways to solve them. I started reading the siris when I was 12 and particularly enjoyed the day of the dawn, #7. read it and enjoy!

Summary: Absurd, inconsistent, and just plain terrible
Review: I fail to understand why everyone loves this book so much. The characters are zero-dimensional. The plot is ludicrous and fantastic at best- absurd at worst. The invaders are completely unrealistic and unbelievable, even for one-dimensional figureheads of evil. The dialogue is sickening. The action is stilted and unrealistic. None of the main characters are even remotely likeable. The list goes on for ever, but I will stop it here by saying: Tomorrow, When the War Began is terrible.

Summary: A Wonderful Book that explores that explores Growing Up
Review: Tommorow, when the War began is an excellent read, which tells the story of teenagers growing up and trapped in a very difficult situation. They tragically return from a camping trip to "Hell", to discover that their town has been invaded. The story is full of action and is described in fantastic detail, courtesy of one of Australia's most wonderful authors, John Marsden. I highly recommend reading this book.

Summary: AN EXCELLENT SERIES! THE BEST I HAVE EVER READ!
Review: John Marsden is a very famous Australian author and has written many multi-award winning books. My favourites are the books in the Tomorrow When the War Began series. I've never read a book (or series) like Marsden's in my life. They capture every single detail, no matter how small. It feels as if you are a character in the book. When you read about the emotions of the characters you feel their happiness, excitement, anger, scaredness, and sadness. A definite must read.
