Rating: Summary: Sometimes a book is just TRUE. Review: Do you know that feeling sometimes when a book gives you the shakes? When it's just so real, and so true, that it affects you physically? When you close the cover after the final page and your first thought it 'Who can I give this book to?'Well, this book gave me that feeling. Every page rings true, there is none of that jarring feeling of an adult writing about teenagers, it reads and feels like something written by a sad, smart, painfully honest 15-year-old boy. It's not an easy book to read, and be prepared to spend several days after you read it thinking about Charlie and his life. But if you're prepared for a book that is simply nakedly truthful, read this.
Rating: Summary: You can't explain the feeling into words Review: This book makes you wonder about everything you knew before. It stunned me and the end left me speechless. The whole book caries you through all the hard experiances and decisions of a troubled boy named charlie. He makes good, bad, and strange decisions. And, you get so into the book that you feel like you know the characters and you react to their words and actions. This book meant a lot to me and I can't explain it any other way
Rating: Summary: this book was the "deepest" book i've ever read Review: This book really made you think about who you are and where you stand. It makes you feel bad about all the people you've ignored or never gotten to know. The things Charlie does, thinks, and says relates to you in a way you can't explain. I can't sum in up into words any other way
Rating: Summary: Fiction never felt so real Review: I could use adjectives like good, great, awesome, and what have you, but the feeling after reading this book is more than that, it triggers thoughts that often prevent you from sleeping, picturing these characters and their events was quite amazing. I just hope this author writes even more.
Rating: Summary: ----Book shares real life problems---- Review: I read this book in 2 days, and normally, I don't read at all. It definitely held my interest and spoke about things which I, a high school student, could somewhat relate to. The only thing I didn't like too much was the format of the book. Otherwise, I really liked it!
Rating: Summary: A great book you you want forget. Review: The book is beautifully written. I constantly am thinking about different scenes in the book. A great first novel.
Rating: Summary: ANYONE'S BOOK Review: i refer to it as anyone's book because it's the type of book that almost everyone can relate to. stephen chbosky gives such a realistic presentation of a teenager's life, it's like when i was reading it, i'd go, "something like that happened to me too". i loved all of the characters, they all seemed so believable. i recommend this book to everyone. maybe in some way the book will help others feel a little more infinite.
Rating: Summary: Best!!!! Review: This is the BEST book I have ever read!!!! I read it in one night because I was so into the story. I think it is great when Charlie says he feels "infinite!" I know exactly what he means.
Rating: Summary: Amazing Account of A Teenager's Journey into Maturity Review: I thought this book was truly amazing and so much fun. I read it in 3 days. I laughed and cried all at the same time. The honesty truly shines through. My only critcism is that I wish it was longer! Write another book Stephen!
