Rating: Summary: A different and interesting look at 'Bloody' Mary Review:
I really enjoyed this book, not only for the fact that it was well written, but because the story was good.
Mary Tudor, princess of England and the daughter of Catherine of Aragon and King Henry of England, is 10 years old when King Henry sends her away to live with only her governess, Salisbury, and a few servants. Mary's life is surrounded by rumors of her father falling in love with another woman (who is not her mother), Anne Boleyn. After much suffering and after not seeing her beloved mother or her hated father for many years, the King marries Anne and Mary's mother dies. Anne, who Mary is sure is a witch and has bewitched her father, will stop at nothing to take the throne.
This book is very factual and a good read, even for people who may not be interested in this time period or subject. Mary Tudor's story is somewhat surprising because of all the violence and gore of the era. A great read.

Rating: Summary: Amazing! You can read it again and again! Review: Mary Bloody Mary By:Carolyn Meyer Reviewed by:M.Nieto Period:P.2 Mary Bloody Mary is about Mary Tudor's life. In the beginng it says that she was born to HenryIIIV and to Carolyn tudor. Her mother was at the age of sixteen when her father was ten when they had gotten married. Mary was the first child of Henry but soon after, he had a mistress, she was one of the ladys but no one had liked her because they thought she was a which for she had a birth mark on her neck that was symbol of a whicht but she would cover it with a chocker.Henry had send mary's mother away but to stay awawy for ever but until she gets a divorce with him. Carolyn knew that if she get a divorce her daughter wouldnt be able to be the next ruler of England. The king knew he wouldnt get a divorce so he had married his mistress, Anne Boelyn, Mary was now consider a baster. Anne was now queen, she treated Mary bad but when she had a baby, things got worse for Mary. The baby had stolen everything from Mary her mother, her chamber, and her respect as a princess. The baby was named Elizabeth tudor now Mary's step-sister. Mary became a servant to serve Elizabeth now that she is the new princess. Soon Elizabeths mother was beheaded for commiting adultry to have a son for the king. They say that she begged for forgivness to Mary but Mary wouldnt have forgiven her. Then one of Anne's ladys had married Henry and treated Mary very well. But then she died from havig a new born boy child that was the next king to the throne. Henry had married four other women, they were either beheaded or divorced but his last marriage was when he died. Marys step-brother was the king now but died of a flue at a very young age. The next hier to the throne was Mary she was successful to become the next ruler of England, Queen Mary. I have really enjoyed this book because, one, it envolves Medival Times, second, it is about a princess, and lastly, it was exciting. This book is enjoyable, it envolves a person being successful to their goals like Mary she had her life in tragedty but she manage to survive even without her mother she kept her self up and never gave her chance of being a Queen away. The part that I have disliked so very much is when her father had gave her up for some unpleasant lady that who treated Mary very badly. Even though her father had given her up she stood up very tall and stood strong even without her mother beside he side. Another part that I disliked is when Anne had tooken every thing from her that she loved so very much. My favorite part was when Mary had taken all the beaten up on what she was doing wrong that has to do with Elizabeth and stood strong. I liked it when she had her eyes on the throne.
