Rating: Summary: The end of THE IMMORTALS series Review: This book was fantastic, i read the entire series and this was by far the best of Tamora's four immortal books. Numair and Daine are swept into the divine realms by Daine's mother. They travel to Dragonlands to seak help from the dragons, (the help being sent back to the mortal realm). Along the way they undertake many adventures including walking over rickety bridges to falling into rivers. Also in this book Daine finds out who her true love is. The ending to this book was beautiful, though it may make one look for more news on how she and Numair are fairing. I love Tamora pierce's books, the only problem is that so far she has limited her series to 4 books when she could really write a ten-book series.
Rating: Summary: This is the best ever Review: This is the best book i've ever read (and i've read alot!) I love the fact that Daine and Numair finally admit that they're in love. But what happens next? You can't just stop her! I mean do they get married or what? I think we should all write to Tamora Pierce and ask her to write another book.
Rating: Summary: The Best of the Immortals! Review: This is defintely the best of the Immortals series! I love it that Daine and Numair fall in love too. I think that is appropriate for the story. I love all the new things you learn in the Divine Realms. I like the vivid way everything is described by Tamora of how things are in the Divine Realms. I love the part when they get to the Dragon Lands, also the parts at the end, the battle, Daine's big decision, and Daine finding Numair. I think of this as the most colorful and vibrant book of this series. I want to know if Daine and Numair get married! Basically, the plot of this story is; Daine and Numair are saved from a life-threatening situation by Daine's parents, both gods. Daine and Numair insist upon going home, so they travel through the Divine Realms searching for help. I won't spoil the details of the end though. Tamora defintely saved the best for last!
Rating: Summary: The Best was Saved for the Last! Review: In this case, the last book of the series is the best of them all. If you felt the romance growing between Numair and Daine in the last books wait untill you read this one. This book really wraps it all up wonderfully. When you get to the last sentence you will still wish for more. The Realms of the Gods is by far the best book of the series.
Rating: Summary: The Best Completion of A Saga, The World Has Seen Review: In order to fully grasp the meaning and wonder of this book, you would definantly need to read the other three books first, (Wild Magic, Wolf Speaker, & Emperor Mage.)The story put together is exqusit. Starting form the beginging of the series you see the progression of the girl Diane, as she learns and grasps her wild magic. In this perticular book, the ending, filled with love, romance, and humor between Diane and her teacher Numair, is a perfect way to balence the gorriness of the book. It's a perfect touch. You definantly want to read this series.
Rating: Summary: I've never been more sad to finish a book before. Review: Oh, my, god. I can't put in words how much I LOVE this book!!!! Okay, many of you are saying that it is "racy" and "innapropriate" and junk. Are you MAD? Okay, totally not innapropriate. I love the romance in this book. My friends think it's gross that Daine and Numair are so far apart in age, but, who cares? Okay anyway, I read this in about a day, and I loved it sooo much. When I got it I knew there had to be some sort of romance (obviously) so I read it SO fast until the part where they kiss! I LOVED that part. I have read all the romance parts over and over and over and over. I love it. I am so mad that the new Tamora Pierce series barely has Daine or Numair in it! Whhhaaaaaaa! I want them to get married sooo much. I am really mad. I love romance. Sigh. Anyway, this was a good book. :)
Rating: Summary: A WONDERFUL BOOF! Review: I loved this book. I got hooked on the series when i was 12 and have been reading all the Tamora Pirce books i can get. I saw Daine and Numair hooking up in the first book. I think a fifth book should be written, but if it cannot be done, there should be a wedding sence for Daine and Numair in her up comming seris. A little racy for those under 13 unless you're really mature.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: Well, I am a really huge fan of this series, as are the others who have taken the time to write in here. This has to be my favourite series. It has everything- fantasy creatures, a girl that is about my age, the ability to talk to and change into any animal, the wonderful locations, characters and the cute lover, well, at least in my mind. :)Read these books if you want a good read, but be warned, as others have pointed out, I too found myself crying the first time I finished the series, that is why I gave 4 stars. And especially what happens to a close friend of Daine's, it is emotional, and very well-written, but I say no more...
Rating: Summary: GREAT book! Review: BEFORE I write this review, I just want to say: if Tamora Pierce is reading this, PLEEEAAASSSEEE make an Immortals #5! Now I have a confession. I cried when I finished this book. I mean, the Immortals is OVER! *sob* ! Well, for people who haven't read this FANTASTIC close-up to the Immortals, here is a vauge description of the book. Numair and Daine are finally together (I mean, I could see it coming from, literally, a mile away, like way back in Wild Magic. So much for being subtle, Numair.) you meet Kitten's relatives and Daine's parents, and witness the "final battle"! What could be a better ending? Except for the fact it's cut off sort of soon. This book is packed with suspense, loads of new characters, humor, action, and, of course, romance (again, finally.). Mostly it's just Daine and Numair, and that's the first time in one of the books that you witness them alone together for a long period of time. Cloud's not in it much (wah!) but still, when you read the last sentence of the epilogue, you wish that the Immortals would never end.
Rating: Summary: Really good book Review: I think that this book was great. It had all of the material for a great book in it. I loved the dragons and the darkings. I wish that Jelly and Leaf weren't killed. You get to meet Daine's parents. I wish my parents were that cool! Making chairs out of walls! Anyway, then Daine and Numair got together, which I REALLY REALLY liked. All of the action and stuff were great, but I personally think that the little love scenes were cute. All in all, I think this book is exellent, and that anyone would like it, but read the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd books first. Unfortunately, the reason that I only gave this 4 stars insead of 5 was because the series ended too soon, and was kinda cut off. I'm going to sit here and wait for the next series with Daine in it comes out. Hopefully with more little love scenes in it.
