Rating: Summary: I WANT MORE!!! Review: I Was so happy with the turn out of this book! Tamora has passed all reason to bring the most amazing books! I have four friends who say the same! Daine is a down to earth kind of person. She is easy to relate to. Thats what maks this a perfect book. I'm still waiting to find out the end of the book. It's a cliff hanger and leaves you wanting more! I have found that Tamora makes Daine have her share of problems and pain. I hope to have another quartet about Daine. If there is I'll be one of the first people to recomend them.I always hope to see more of Tamora's work! Keep up the WICKED work Tamora! It's awesome!
Rating: Summary: Carthak Strikes Agen! Review: When the wall between the realms of gods and mortals shatters Diane and Numar are wisked away to fight the immortals. While fighting for their lives they are pulled into the realms of the gods! Once there Diane is forced to make a terrible choice. Read the book to find out what happens next. I would recomend this book to anyone who is looking for a suspence thriller with a magical twist that only Tamora Pierce could make.
Rating: Summary: The Realms have proved themselves to be Divine! Review: This was honestly the best book that I have ever read. I liked the other three books, but this one takes the cake. The Darkings were the best. They kept getting away, and causing trouble, but turned out to be so helpful and sweet. It was upsetting when a Storm Wing wiped them out. It really caught me off guard though, when some Storm Wings decided that they were going to help out the Queen, King, Alanna, and Daine. I loved Daine and Numair getting together. I mean, we all knew it was going to happen after the incident in Carthak, but it was still exciting. The age difference is probably a little shaky with some people, but 14 years between soul mates doesn't bother me. I just want to hear what's going to happen next with Daine and her to-be husband!
Rating: Summary: I've read and re-read this book at least a million times! Review: I've read this whole series and the Alanna series (my 2nd favorite) and the Winding Circle (Briar, Daja, etc) series, and started the Protector of the Small series but this is DEFINATELY my favorite! And out of all four books- I would say this is the best. I love the characters and the world they live in and I devour these books in gulps, but I especiallly loved this one for the romance-this is the best combination possible for me, science fiction-fantasy type books with a bit of romance. I LOVE these books!!
Rating: Summary: Couldn't ask for a better book! Review: The best book I could ever wish for! I love the darkings but I was so sad when they died. Oh, and about Daine and Numair, it's not like I have a problem with the age thing, and I thought they were perfect for each other, but marriage? For those people who hope they do, read the reasons why they might not. I mean it's sort of like Alanna and Jon, they would make a terrible marriage. This was the best book I have ever read, I read it in a day! I love just reading my favorite parts over and over again and getting lost in day dreams.Tamora, if your out there please write more about Daine!
Rating: Summary: Tamora Pierce is the best!!! Review: Tamora Pierce is my all-time favorite author... and that takes a lot. With all the books I read, it is hard to chose a favorite, but Tamora Pierce takes the cake. How the books can get less than five stars will continue to amaze me. I have read, reread, and reread these books. I even have some parts memorized! The Realms of the Gods ends a fasinating series about an amazing girl named Daine who has a rare kind of magic that ivolves animals. Her tall and powerful teacher, the mage Numair, gets sucked into the realms of the gods with Daine, where she learns a little about her past, her enemy, her teacher, and even about her heart. Back in Tortall (current residence of Daine), there is a huge war taking place... Daine and Numair are needed... so they set out on the perilous journey packed full of surprises... I can't say any more-- I might give it away! Oh well, but anyway- read to find out more. I have continually marveled at these books. And her other books. Read any of them-- it's all good. she is in the middle of two series right now, but my preference is the Protector of the Small books. They are about a girl named Kel who wants to be a knight. I will keep on rereading the first two books until June, when the third book Squire comes out. Happy reading!
Rating: Summary: This book is the best book you could ever hope to read! Review: Tamora Pierce did an amazing job with this book! Although I loved all her other books too, the Immortals' Series has to be the best in my opinion. I love the way Daine and Numair fall in love, but I think that Ms. Pierce should have written more on the turn out of their relationship. Daine and Numair's adventures in the Realm of the Gods are fun and exciting! I felt as if I was pulled into the book and taken along with them to fight the Carthakians and Ozorne. I know that you will love this series and most of all this book. Any person that has read her books will surely know that this book is the best!
Rating: Summary: THE BEST Review: I hadn't read my IMMORTALS SERIES for awhile and I reread the books I have this week. Even though I am older than when I first read them I still love them. They are great books and if you have to stay home in bed because you are sick like me with the flu and you want something to do, get these books. You will not regret it. I promise.
Rating: Summary: This book is amazing! Review: I think that anyone and everyone should read this book! It is my favorite book out of all the Tamora Pierce books! If you enjoy fantasy books with adventure and a little romance you will absolutly love this book. Also you should check out all of the other Tamora Pierce books. They are all excellent! And check out her new series "Protector of the Small". I have read the first two and I can't wait for the next two to come out!
Rating: Summary: One of my 3 or 4 all-time favortites... Review: ...and I don't grade easy. This author is the best have ever read, heard of, or imagined. How this book could get less than 5 stars is beyond me. The characters blow out of the pages. You are swept up in Daine's story every time you pick the book up. I myself have read so many times I have lost track, and it still never fails to swoop me away. The conclusion to the stunning Immortals series, "The Realms of the Gods" finishes the story of Veralidaine Sarrasri (Daine) quite satisfyingly. Daine, a 16-year-old with the gift of "animal speech", has been working hard keeping evil immortals from destroying Tortall, her home. When she and her teacher Numair are pulled into the realms of the gods, Daine fears for her friends' safety. Leaving the home she has found in thge god-realms, Daine and Numair set out on a dangerous journey to return to Tortall. But through strange dreams and visions, Daine discovers that she and her friends may be pawns in a game of the gods to save the entire universe... That's all I want to say for fear of giving anthing away. I will say that if you miss this book, you are missing out on the time of your life! However, I do advise you to read the prequels "Wild Magic", "Wolf-Speaker", and "Emperor Mage" (in that order) first. I recommend anything by this author. In fact, it's best to read her "Song of the Lioness" series before this.
