Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!! Review: Wow! She did it again! I have read this book twice (and I hardly ever read books twice) and I'd still read it again. It was fantastic!
Rating: Summary: Nice book, but I was expecting more Review: The Realms of the Gods is a pretty good book, with many of the elements that made me read her whole Immortals series. I guess I was expecting an incredible, character-changing ending to the series. That's not what you'll find here. The plot, with Daine and Numair wandering around the Divine Realms most of the time, doesn't seem quite as focused as in her other novels, and the ending made me want to throw the book against the wall and scream,"That's it?"
Rating: Summary: "A wonderfull book!!" Review: "The Realms of the Gods" is a wonderful book to end the series with! Full of excitement, suspense, and a little romance. I for one love all of Tamora Pierce's books and can't wait to read her new series!! If you like Fantasy and Magic, this is definitely the book for you!
Rating: Summary: this was one of the best series of books ever! Review: this was such a good conclusion to a wonderfull series! it left me wanting more! i couldent put it down i loved all the immortal books! if you liked this be sure and read all the Alanna books because they are also really really great books!
Rating: Summary: This book is everything Review: In the book The Realms of the Gods, there is everything. There are battles, monsters, gods and goddesses, budding romance and everything else you could hope for in a novel for teens and adults. It is wonderfully written and and a story that will keep you reading till you are done. One book that you won't put down. I do however advise you read the three books that come before this one in the series, The Immortals. Once you read this one you will want to read the rest of the books that Tamora Pierce has written. I recommend this book to everyone! Its wonderful.
Rating: Summary: I just have one thing to say... Review: I love this book. The entier quortet has to be ranked amoung the best books I Have Ever read. I Just wanted to ask what's wrong with you people if you couldn't see the thing betwen Dane and Numair from the begining?! Do you people have some thing agenst romance or what? For all of you who haven't read these books Don't listen to these people. The Romance is wonderful!!!!!! So READ THESE BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: very good Review: to everyone who has reviewed this as a let down i encourage you to read the book again and then try to write an ending to it that fits! really i believe you have never tried to write a series that didn't end awfully! anyway i loved it!
Rating: Summary: Um... think Mary K. Laterno Review: I thought that this book was unncessary, as it answered the questions that we already knew the answer to. All that it accomplished was to get Numair and Daine together, a couple I didn't agree with anyway. Imagine how YOU would feel if your author married you to an uncle-figure. Think Mary K. Laterno. In my opinion, she should have married someone ELSE (ANYONE else). Evan or Kaddar are examples of more eligible bachelors. No plot. No character development. Meeting Weirin was a sort of let down, since nothing really happened. Characters were rather static throughout the book, especially compared to her other books. I did, however, really enjoy the dragons. As far as I'm concerned, this book was unncessary. It could have ended more satifactorily with Emperor Mage. No hate-mail, please.
Rating: Summary: I knew it! Review: I thought this was a great book and I knew the whole time that Numair and Daine would get together, most things in all the other books in this seires lead up to it. I hope she writes another seires about Tortall, I read all Tamora's books and I loved every one of them! I could just see all the characters and the landscape, it was so clearly writen. If you haven't read any of Tamora's books you should read them ALL! I just could not put these books down. I have read this book at least FIVE times. It was that good!
Rating: Summary: Really awesome (as usual) Review: This book was really good. I liked the darkings and I wish they had all survived. I thought it was sad when Rikash died (he was one of the only decent Stormwings). Once again, this was really cool. My one complaint is that Ms. Pierce suddenly threw in romance when this series was perfectly good without it. There's enough romance in the Alanna series, in my opinion. Other then that, this book was really good, if a little sad.
