Rating: Summary: This book really wansn't as good as the rest of the series. Review: In this last book Daine and Numair are taken to the realms of the gods. But they felt that they had to go home to fight a war going on in their own realm, so they set out for the land of the dragons. It seemed like they had no trouble getting there and everything worked out perfectly. Also Daine and Numair fell in love which really discusted me. Through out all of the other books they had a father daughter relationship. The author tried to turn it into a love story and it didn't work. I am a very big fan of the rest of Tamora Pierce's books but this one wasn't what I expected.
Rating: Summary: the BEST, proves that these books are for ALL ages Review: this book really proved that Tamora Pierce isn't just a childrens book author, but has the skill and descriptive ability to not just tell you a story but to really show it to you.
Rating: Summary: A READER WHO KNOWS Review: 'Realms of the Gods' was better than imaginable. It had all of the elements that a well written book should have. Adventure, romance, and even a little bit of mystery. My only regret about this book was that it was the final book in the 'Immortals' series. Luckly, this book answered all of the readers unanswered questions and tied up all of the loose ends. All in all, this book was a satisfying conclusion to a series that couldn't have gotten any better
Rating: Summary: Poor book in a series that started well. Review: I have read all the books in this series, and really enjoyed the first two, but Realms of the Gods is just poor, it lacks something that made the others so enjoyable. It answers a few questions that needed answering, but don't expect much from it. It doesn't live up to the other books by Tamora Pierce.
Rating: Summary: MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I absolutely LOVE Tamora Pierce's books, and this one was the BEST! I've read it over and over, and I still can't get over it!! I was kinda suprised at first with Daine and Numiar, but after a while I decided that they were an awsome couple. These books rule, and if you like the Immortals and the Lioness Quartet, you'll love the Circle of Magic quartet too, Tamora's latest quartet.
Rating: Summary: Loved bits, hated other bits Review: This was the weakest in the series. The great part was about Daine and Numair. They were just so adorable! The bad bits were the almost hurried, disorganised storylines thrown in for good measure. It's almost as if Ms Pierce ran out of steam. I would LOVE to know what happens with Numair and Daine. Hopefully there will be more stories about this great land and these great people.
Rating: Summary: ::::Sigh:::: another overrate Pierce Novel Review: The author is losing her touch. Where's all the romance, action, and horror so mamy of the Tamora Pierce readers look for and love? Not here, if you ask me.
Rating: Summary: 3 words: read this book! Review: This book was very good, especially since we got to see quite a few things we had asked for (and some that we didn't (heh heh heh), such as what is going on in Numair's foul little mind. Daine and Numair together is not a pairing I would have made myself, but I can see now that it is a great relationship. Your truly, Kait Els the sick minded of RhyDin PS It is *not* Mary Kay Letourneauish in any way!
Rating: Summary: This book is fair wondrous! (Don't I sound like Daine now?) Review: This was a great book! I loved Wild Magic and Wolf Speaker and even Emporer Mage was totally awesome! This book was really exciting, but it sort of ruins the idea of the other realms. It made them seem not-so-mysterious, and more usual and common or something. I kinda had this idea that they were these all-powerful places, that no normal mortal could even dream of going to, but now, it's just like, "Oh, OK, so it's possible for mortals to go there, the gods must not be as great as I thought." It's an awesome book anyway, and I'm glad Numair and Daine finally get together.
Rating: Summary: LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: My teacher knew how much i loved Alanna, and she just loved "The Immortals" so she finally got me to read it. At first it wasn't what I expected then when she started talking about characters from the previous series I was all into it I couldn't put it down it was great! I thought that the last book was the best I didn't want it to end so Ms. Pierce if you ever read this I think you need to write another series about Daine,Numair,And Alanna. Here's a suggestion why don't you write about King Jonathon & Alanna & (*hint*hint*) Daine and Numair's kids. Oh well I REALLY suggest that you read "The Lioness Rampent" series, to me that was the best! Bye to all!
