Rating: Summary: Great! Review: I'll start with the good things. A. This was definitely one of the best in the series, and I loved all the stuff about the gods etc. B. The whole book was great. C. READ IT! Okay now the bad things. I didn't like Daine and Numair's love affair. All this time he's been like a father or a mentor to her, or maybe an older cuzzin. You know, one of the people we would call a "family" friend or a relative. Did meeting Weiryn change their relationship? Well I think he's too old for her (not to be a prude or anything) and that she should either not marry him or waitttttttt a few years before she even thinks about love. If you overlook the love parts, THIS IS A WORK OF ART and a MUST READ! If you want to skim the love parts... let's just say you arent alone.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!! Review: I read this whole series in ,like, three days and this book was definitely the best. To everyone who says Daine and Numair's relationship was "unappropriate", you are SO wrong!!! Do you have something against romance? It was obvious from the very first book! And if you didn't pick it up from Emperor Mage, than I must say, you are blind. The clues were slapping you in the face(or someone else's). They make aperfect couple. Anyway, this book was wonderfully romantic, funny, and action packed. Read it, you'll like it.
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK SOUNDS COOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I haven't read this book yet but i can't wait!I've read Wolf Speaker & Emperor Mage & the Song of the Lioness series and Iwish I had enough cash to buy it now!if u've never read any of Tamora Pierce's books ,you havenT read anything.I love the Tortall books and I hate coming back to the real world,
Rating: Summary: I LUV IT! Review: It's such a great book! Coming from me, that's probably a lot since i've read my share of dumb books, but this! It's a work of art, i tell u. Daine rocks! But...um...Does anyone know how you pronounce her name? I'm not sure....Oh well. Anyway, i'm just crossing my fingers that Ms. Pierce would write just one more book about Daine and her friends. I would love to find out if Daine and Numair got married and all that.
Rating: Summary: This book is fantastic! Review: I'd just like to say that this book is a wonderful ending to a great series. I couldn't put it down! I love Ms. Pierce's characters and settings. Tortall fans, you won't be disappointed! This series is my favorite!
Rating: Summary: GREAT CONCLUSION TO A GREAT QUARTET Review: I thought NO book could beat Emperor Mage, but that was before I read this book! The only word I can use to describe it is WOW!! Daine-NO ONE SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND THAT HER NAME IS DAINE, NOT DIANE-finally gets to meet her dad, finds out the secrets of her unexplained past, finds out that all along she was in love with Numair, and gosh so much more!! This book was excellent, great book for any YA readers!! I don't understand why they put the Lioness Quartet in the children's section. But anyway, this is a great book! You're doing good, Tamora!!
Rating: Summary: My thoughts on this book as a conclusion to the Immortals... Review: I become obsessed with this series practically overnight, flying through the books as fast as I could only to smash into a solid brick wall, instantly cut off from the world I have been so deeply a part of. I totally disagree with anyone who says this was a satisfying conclusion to the Immortals. What was there was great (5 stars) but it was what WASN'T there that upset me; the book ended, left me hanging at a place when an answer to a question could change the lives of the main characters for ever. The world of Daine, Numair, and their companions is so thrilling, so indescribably wonderful that when I find I can't join them and make Tortall my home (and I know I'd fit in so much better there than in this uncomfortably routine 21st century world) I settle with the ability to dive into the life of Daine. It hurts to be cut off from this life. I NEED Tamora Pierce to open that window again and let obsessed fans like me continue to follow the girl with wild magic until she dies (and after what she's lived through I know it won't be soon. I doubt I'm alone in feeling that the end of great adventures and a hope for the future are not enough, not this time. Her world is too facinating to let go of.
Rating: Summary: An Awesome Book Review: It makes you wish that there were more books in the series. It's the best book in the Immortal series. If Pierce were to make another series just like this everyone would buy it.
Rating: Summary: Wicked book! Review: This book was the best in the entire series, I think, because you finally got to know that Daine and Numair were together. I am a (sort of) romantic, and this was a lovely book for people like me. Anyway, GO BUY IT AND READ IT!!
Rating: Summary: For anyone who enjoys fantasy and adventure Review: I've read her other books too and every time I read one, I want to talk to the characters...these stories are captivating and always leave you feeling good about life. They give you courage and uplift you
