Rating: Summary: I'M SPEECHLESS... Review: OK. this is great... and i mean it... but, i really cannot stand the suspense... i mean, obviously we know that daine will accept Numair's proposal, but... i want to see... you know... what will happen next when they get back.. i understand in the protector of the small series, they share a room... but i really want to know how others react about them... and good gracious, how could Rikash die? this is so depressing.. oh well.. all go well with you! <especially to ALL tamora pierce's fans!>
Rating: Summary: Breathtaking Book! Review: Realms Of The Gods is one of Tamora Pirce's best works yet. She tells of a world of magic, wonder, and romance. I love the whole book, and I love Song Of The Lioness seris also. Personally, I want Alanna's life. She has been an inspriation, just as Tamora Pirce has convinced me to develope my writing skills. Finally, I believe that Broadfoot is one of the coolest characters in the whole story.
Rating: Summary: All about the praise Review: When I finished reading the 1st Alana book, I was instantly hooked. Throught out the whole series, i thought that last book, (Realm of the gods) was the ultimate best. In my opinion, it has all the elements required to be a good book. It has suspense, romance, and imagination. I have read and re-read all of the Alanna and Daine books over and over. I can practically recite a few chapters. The romance between Numeir and Daine is kinda of expected. Through all of her books, she hits alittle about this happening. (ex. 3rd book- at the end where he hugs her tight and call her sweet) The only thing i would have to complain about this book, is the ending. Tamora Pierce just cuts it off, but I understand that she has a limited amount of pages that she can work with. I just hope that in the future, she writes more books involving alanna, george, Daine, Numeir, Kit, and all.
Rating: Summary: An older adult reader! Review: Loved the entire series. The plots are well thought out and tie together with out repetion in the first chapters. Fun reading for any age. Loved the little Ink Blots. A delightful way to combine the books together.
Rating: Summary: GREAT MITHROS, HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE THIS BOOK! Review: I think this is the absolute best book I've ever read. Actually, I know it is. What I don't know is how ANYONE can NOT like it. I mean, Numair is only 14 years older than Daine, and anyone would get white hairs if they're really stressed. I've read the new Tortall book,(Protector of the Small--First test) and Tamora Pierce DOES NOT TELL ENOUGH ABOUT DAINE AND NUMAIR! There better be more about them in the next books! P.S.--the darkings are cute. I wish Leaf and Jelly hadn't been killed.
Rating: Summary: How can you do this Tamora? Review: Oh my GOD. I can't believe it! How can you end a series right after Numair proposses? Yes, It's obvious that they will get married but what if NUMAIR fell off a cliff? Daine could mourn forever thinking he was dead and then he could show up at her door. He could sweep her into his arms and dump her into bed. Now what a good book that would be! Tamora has to write another book or follow up in another series like she sorta did with Alanna and George. Numair and Daine could have kids and go through more hardships ect. ect. I've read this book littraly about 60 times and it never gets old. But back on the romance subject it SHOULDN'T take three books and 167 pages for Numair and Daine to hook up. Well...I vented about .0006 of my rag ebut anyway. Thanks, Bye, Lauren
Rating: Summary: Spectacular! Review: Ms. Pierce does it again! The book is outstanding from the time Daine finally meets her father to the time she and Numair have fallen in love. Through the whole series you fall in love with the characters and this was an outstanding way to end the series. I wish there was another book (a #5) but what can you do? Once again, SPECTACULAR!
Rating: Summary: Daine and Tortal are unforgetable Review: This is the final book in one of the best series I have ever read! I have read it over and over. I really got to know all the charecters. Athough I can not help hoping there was another book in this series, I think this book is great way to end this enchanting series.
Rating: Summary: On behalf of all us hypnotised readers... Review: To Ms. Pierce, from a reader who has read almost every one of your books (I still haven't been able to get my hands on the second Song of the Lioness book), I'd just like to say this: HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO US! There is no thing more cruel in the world, than to end not a book, but a SERIES, just after someone proposes. We don't even know if Daine said yes or not! Although, the chemistry between Daine and Numair really was evident (especially in Emperor Mage), and I'm surprised that there were actually people who were surprised when they got together. Come on! How do you not see it? And I don't care what anybody else says. This book was wonderful (even though it left us hanging), and I'm always right, so don't even try to argue.
Rating: Summary: Awesome book! Review: I really loved this book. Its my favorite out of all the books that Tamora Pierce has written. I loved how she showed what Diane's parents are like and also what the dragon's realm is like. Although Numair's romance with Diane startled me at first, after a while i got used to it. I have read this book a billion times and I never get tired of it!Tamora really incorporates the two worlds in a skillful weaving of art.
