Rating: Summary: The Greatest in the entire world!!! Review: This book was most definately the greatest in the entire world. What else could you say about it? The scenery seemed very real to me and I liked how Daine finally got to meet her dad. That was sooo sweet!! My only complaint? Her mother Sarra. Did anyone else get the impression of whiney, overprotective, overbearing, cant take care of herself, Mommy? I most certainly did. I was glad when they left there. It gave Daine and Numair a chance to be alone. They are so good together. And(this should make all you complainers feel better) in the new Tortall series that Tamora's writing, we find out just a little more about them. I haven't read it yet but I have high hopes. Why not? But I'm wondering about something. How in Mithros's name did they tell everyone? I sit awake at night wondering about that. I have a wide picture of Varice Kingsford feinting, Baron George grinning, and Onua and Alanna saying," Really? Are you quite sure?" I thought this book was the best in the Immortals series, and I'm hoping that we hear at least a little more about Daine and Numair in the future.
Rating: Summary: A Great Ending to a Great Series! Review: Alright, I don't think I have ever been more depressed in my whole life that I have finished a series of books than I am right now. This has been the best 3 days of my life. I could not put any of the books down. I would have to say this one was my favorite because Numair and Daine go together. I knew it was coming. Numair had fallen in love with her long before this book, but he was just to stupid to realize it till he almost lost her. Ahhhhh... memories. Seriously though, this series is fantastic for girls and guys. It is amazing, I can't even describe it. I can't saying anything or else I will end up underrating it, it is that good. If you haven't read this series you had better go out and buy it NOW! If you don't you are missing out. You can't read books without reading these. What a wonderful series! I loved every second I spent reading it. Everybook was great in its own way. I LOVE THE IMMORTALS!
Rating: Summary: Why did it have to end!!!!!! Five stars arent enough!!!!!!!! Review: Why are thou cruel fate? I can't believe how good these books were!!! I couldn't put them down and this last one has to be the best, I mean I knew that Daine liked Numair, and Numair liked Daine it just took them a while and Daine almost DYING for them to realize it mainly him though, sigh... I never used to read much but thanks to Tamora Pierce I have read more than I can believe!!! You must get this book-along with the others so you know what happing-it will makes you wish that your life was Daine. Dragons, magic, love and a whole bunch of amazing things that will make you awe and gasp with amazement, and don't worry when you finish it. There are other books that have the couple, read "Protector of the Small" set and the Tricksters Choice" to read a little more about the couple and the Books are good tooooo!!!!! Trust me when I say this, you will enjoy them all, but for now read "The Immortals" you will fall in love with them.
Rating: Summary: Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Review: I have read all of Tamora Pierce's at least ten times and I really love the two series about Tortall, I mean LOVED them. They were great! This book is the BEST of all the other books she has written. I loved it, and all of you who think this book sucked, I have no idea what the hell you were reading. I can't wait to read the new series that Ms. Pierce is writing about Tortall. The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended with you not knowing what happened to Daine and Numair, I mean, what? What happens to them? They are such a cute couple, and you know that they liked each other for the loooongest time. Especially in Emperor Mage. Read all the books that she's written, including the Circle of Magic. A lot of people have been frazzing that series, but it's a great series.
Rating: Summary: How can you NOT totally love this book? Review: When I started reading the Immortals Series, I thought WILD MAGIC was the best it could be. As I continued read the other books in the series, I marvled at the same greatness and perfection. Then I read REALMS OF THE GODS and it totally blew me away. It will take your breatth away. Daine and Numair get stuck in the mysterious realms of the gods. They must make the perilous journey to get back to Tortall, where a desparate war is taking place and the duo is needed if there is any hope of winning. Things aren't as easy as it might sound... Look- please trust me-- these books are all that and a bag of chips! Tamora Pierce is not some JV author. In order to really read, you have to read her stuff. Take my word on it.
Rating: Summary: I give it 15+ stars out of 5 Review: This is one of my favorite books ever! It was exciting, romantic, and, um, very adventurous! This is for all you people who think that Daine needs somebody to be romanticaly involved with: Dont give up hope! This kind of relationship is probably much closer than you think! (*hint hint, wink wink*) This book shows how much war takes it's toll, and how much you have to give to conquer evil. It shows you that evil doesn't ALWAYS win. I was very sad that this was the last book in the series, since it was so good. But all good things must come to an end. But if you haven't read this book, and you've had the chance to, shame to you! You must read it quickly! I really recommend this book to everyone, but especially to teens. Well, mostly to teen girls. It's amazing how Tammy manages to tie everything together so nicely. (...)
Rating: Summary: I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! Review: My reaction to this book is not rash. I read it at least 6 times and it gets better and better. However, I feel that the book ended rather abrutly and that Ms. Pierce should most definetly write another series involving Tortall. Her latest books (involving 4 misfits with magic) is a real let-down. I am still recovering from the shock. Besides, Ms. Pierce simply must tell what happens to Daine and Numair. She certainly wrote enough about Alanna's romances. I must state that, in conclusion, this book is a must-read and that the "reader from Indiana" is SOOO wrong in saying that this series was written hastily. READ IT AGAIN!!!!
Rating: Summary: I Love It! Review: When I read the first book that Tamore Pierce wrote about Diane, I couldn't put it down. The second and third books were also intrguing, leaving me with a serious longing for the last book. This book four was the greatest book in the series. Tamora Pierce managed to wrap up the series and create a romance between the two main character, Daine and Numair, all in one! I love the way Diane thinks and speaks like a real person, not some magic increased wierdo. I just love the way everything turned out, and I can guarentee Diane Lovers will also enjoy the last book in this series.
Rating: Summary: The stupid thing is over! Why can't it go on! Review: That was near THE best book i have ever read. the only problem is that it didn't go on forever, and that cant't be helped. i also think amazon is cheating by not letting be give it say, 200 stars? Numnair and daine are meant for each other, and in this book it actaually comes true, and this book so rocked!
Rating: Summary: OMG! can i pleaze give it 6 starz?...or 7?...how about 10? Review: I loved this book! Tamora Pierce has truly out done herself! This is an amazing twist of magic, and even a bit of romance. don't worry for those of you who are fans of the other books, and don't want to be reading some mushy gooshy love story. Any wanys i really loved this book and strongly urge any, and every preteen/teen girl to try these books. But then again how many people acctually read these things? I know i do... but that might just be me. Oh well. Again i ABSALOUTLY (how do you spell that?) LOVED this book!!
