Review: the plot in this book its fabulous although you can kind of guess the secret from the cover(as i did)it kept me sitting straight up and yelling at the characters to do stuff! it twists and turns and leaves you with dozens of suprises! i read it cover to cover in 3 hours! (i told u i couldnt put it down:)!)i really recommend this book it was almost as good as stranger with my face possibly even tied!

Review: I liked this book. I liked the way at the end of each chapter, she would discover a clue from the way her stepfamily acted or what they had said in an earlier conversation that was not grasped at the time. It was very intriguing.

Review: This was an excellent book! Perfect plot, nice and isolated, nobody around. Nore suspects something about her step-mother Lisette. Something is strangely dangerous about her step-family, but she just can't figure it out, until it's too late... Read this book and I garentee that you will be a happy camper.

Summary: The Two Faced Stepmother
Review: The book I read was called "Locked in Time" by Louis Duncan. This book was very suspenseful. It always kept my attention and I never wanted to put it down. I loved reading this book! The reasons I loved it so much was because one I never knew when people were going to find out the real truth about Nore's stepmother Lisetta. With Nore's mom just dieing and Lisetta already popping up in the picture so soon, no one could really believe that Nore was telling the truth. Although the book was kind of slow moving it keep the book very suspenseful and made me think of what was going to happen next. I very much enjoyed the beginning of the book because it left you trying to put things together. Like for instants, I couldn't understand why when a women went to talk to Lisetta that knew her as a little kid, she said she had to get something and left and never came back until the lady was gone. This left me wanting to find out what Lisetta had to hide. I liked this book a lot and I would really like to recommend this book to people who don't like to read. People who like to read would love it to, but I know I don't like to read, yet I really got into this book and enjoyed it!

Review: I bought this and I was practically glued to it and couldn't put it down!!! Every page is a new twist to the story that makes this book a major mystery!! I am in 7th Grade and this I would call my favorite book!! I love all the characters and it is amazing to read about people actually being locked in time.. Anywayzz, take my advice and BUY IT!!!

Summary: When I started this book I could not put it down.
Review: The book "Locked in Time" by Lois Duncan was a real attention catcher. I could not put the book down. I read it in one night and laughed, cried, gasped all through it. Lois Duncan is the most wonderful author also. I have read many of her novels including Gallows Hill, Dont' Look Behind You, The Third Eye, Ransom, and Daughters of Eve. They all are wonderful and I suggest everyone to read her books.

Review: The book is awesome, i believe that this book was written very welland with a lot of imagination. The author of this book was really into a magical mystireous , eerie kind of world ans as soon as you meet the characters you can't stop yourself from being totally absobred into this world, feeling youreself like one of the characters. This book includs amazing stories that one could not imagine in real life, it gives you a new prespective of how aging and dieing is also part of life. You can never fully live a life without growing up. Being stuck in one year can never be that wonderufl. This book has it all, the mystery the scare factor, the humor , evrey thing. If you are going to read a book i suggest that yuo read this one.

Review: Locked in time is a hair-raising suspense story with an awesome ending and incredible details! It has a great plot about a family who is literally "locked in time." They have to turn to a horrible way of life because they can't get a job or anything along those lines with such an out-dated birth certificate. So a young girl, a new step-member of the family, is searching frantically and desperately to find some proof that her unusual suspicions about this family are true. She knows that if she doesn't soon, time will run out for her and her father, who is too blinded by love to realize the frightening truth. As she gets closer and closer to the hidden truth, this family is doing more and more to stop her! I give this book five stars and two thumbs up for people who enjoy mystery and suspense!!!!

Summary: excellent - couldn't put it down
Review: this is a great book. I read it many years ago and bought it for my daughter. I myself just reread it, at 28 y/o, and have to say that I enjoyed it from cover to cover. I stayed up until I was finished. How anyone can say this book is lame is beyond me, and I am usually very critical. Lois Duncan has once again shown her talent through and through.
