Summary: Great and wonderful Book !
Review: i thought it was a really great book. But, what ever happened to Gabb and Lisette? Did they die? The book was about a girl named Nore, who was visiting her dad and her new stepmother, and Nore's new step brother and stepsister. They seem really strange to her. She knows she is indanger, but her dad doesn't believe her. It was a Great and exciting Book!

Summary: This Is My Favorite...
Review: I first started reading Lois Duncan as teen back in the late eighties and early nineties. I read every one I could get my hands on,whether it be at the library or bookstore.

Locked In Time, however,is my favorite. As a teen I read this book at least six or seven times, yes I liked it that much.

A couple of weeks ago, while searching for some books to buy for my teenage sister-in-law,I came across Locked In Time and decided to get it. The package arrived and there it was calling my name. So,I took it out and read it again. The storytelling and the magic it weaves is still fantastic, even now after all of these years.

I kept that copy, bought my sister-in-law another, and put mine right where it belongs,on my bookshelf next to the Mary Higgins Clark and Sue Grafton novels and all of my other "adult" novels. It's there, ready to be enjoyed again. As i said,It's THAT good.

Summary: Loved it once, loved it twice
Review: This is the book that first got me hooked on Lois Duncan's stories. It was apart of list of novels for a reading competition at school, and I couldn't put it down after I began reading it. It took me two nights to finish it, and when I bought my own copy, I found that I was still captivated by the storyline. Duncan does an EXCELLENT job weaving the story and keeping the reader (of any age) intrigued until the very last page. Don't believe me? My teammate's mother was reluctant to give the book back to her, and the mother's choice of books is impeccable. I swear by it and have since purchased six other books by her.

Summary: Locked In Time
Review: The book Locked in Time is a really good book. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I wanted the bad people to get caught. They acted as though they only had one way out, and that was by death. I think they shouldn't have killed themselves. They should have admitted their crimes. Maybe they could have lived their lives out in the open. I think that this would be a good book for anyone to read one character lets everyone know that you don't have to run away from your problems. She stays strong the whole way through. Another reason I think you might want to read it is because sometimes you don't always realize what someone might do for love. In this novel a life is given for love.

Summary: One of my favorite Lois Duncan books!
Review: The story "Locked in Time" is an especially great book if you like stories with people in colonial times through the early 1900's. It was suspensful to the very end and had a great ending that left you surprised. I recommend this book to everyone, especially fans of Lois Duncan. This her best book yet!

Summary: The best Lois Duncan ever
Review: "Locked in Time" beat "Stranger With My Face" and "Killing Mr. Griffin" by miles! It builds tension and suspense masterfully and the plot just hooks and reels in readers. The supernatural angle is played up beautifully and the characters, particularly Gabe and Josie, are well-defined and well-drawn. The relationship between Gabe and Nore is amazingly poignant. I loved the ending, it was just such a fitting, moving closure. It just about brought tears to my eyes. A haunting, lovely tale.

Review: HAving to read the book for English I found this book good with details but not that great of a story. This story uses very trite situations and Gabe and Lis die. The books not worth it

Summary: Locked in Time
Review: Locked in Time, by Lois Duncan, is an action packed novel that you can never let go. Lois Duncan never seems to run out of marvelous surprises, just like a horrifying movie never knowing what is going to happen next. The novel tells how a young girl that has recently lost her mother can live with her dad's new fiance. That has a hidden secret that no one knows about , and how this might put an end to her life. I would recomend this book to anyone; it is a real eye-popper.
