Summary: Locked In Time
Review: I think that this book was one of the best I have ever read. Lois Duncan is truly a talented author. This book brings mystery, suspense, and true teen all together in one book that is hard to put down. I know I would read 3 chapters a night just because I wanted to know what was going to happen. This book is defenately not a waste of time.

Summary: Locked in Time
Review: I like this book because of the way the author uses feelings to describe things in the story. The plot of the story seems to get more and more interesting. Scenes with Nore and her stepmother in places other than the house make the stepmother more mysterious. The might get boring in the beginning, but the story gets interesting when Nore is in the store. The more you read the more you get to know about the characters other than Nore. I would recommend this book to people who like suspense books.

Summary: Locked in time is awesome
Review: This book was so good. I loved it, it was very suspensful. It kept me reading. I could hardly put it down. If you like suspense and mystery this is the book for you. Its about the price a woman paid for her own eternal youth and the eternal youth of her 2 children. Her son Gabe stayed at the age of 17, and her daughter stayed at the age of 13 years old. This is a great book and I highly recomend it if you enjoy suspense!

Summary: A very good book!
Review: This book was kind of hard to follow at first, but I knew that there was something odd about Nore's stepmother being so beautiful. When I finally figured it out, I was awed. The fact that it took place in the Louisiana bayou made it even more exceptional. Anyway, I love this book.

Summary: One of the best 'teen' novels I have ever read.
Review: While Locked in Time is said to be a teen novel. While reading it I didn't feel like I was reading some r.l. stine, I felt like I was reading a real novel by a good author. Locked in time will get you locked into the novel by the time you are on page 2. I read this book several years ago when I was a 'teen' and this was the first novel that actually got me reading for the first time. After I read Locked in Time I went on the read most of the rest of the Lois Duncan novels. I would reccomend Lois Duncan to any biggining reader, and to those who read a lot already! After I just finished reading locked in time for the second time now, it was still very enjoyable. There are so many suprises that you wouldn't belive. YOu will learn the true meaning of suspense when you read this novel. I have read a lot of Dean Koontz novels that don't even amount to the suspense found in this novel. This book has plenty of suspense, and action with out all of the unneeded things found in 'adult' novels such as sex, blood, drug use. I urge any young reader who is starting to enjoy reading, or even any avid reader already to pick up this book today and read it! Unfortunatly, as I do on most of my other reviews I cannot give you a summary for this novel because I let a friend borrow it, and to give summary's I need the book to be reminded of things.

Summary: It's awesome!
Review: This is an awesome book! Actually every book by Lois Duncan is great! People who race thinks that woman doesn't write as well as men. I think it's not true and it should be fixed. If you like this book you should check out other books by Lois like Down a Dark Hall, The Third Eye, I know what you did last summer, A Gift of Magic, Stranger with my face, Killing Mr. Griffin, Summer of fear, Don't Look Behind you, They Never Came Home, Ransom, Daugher of Eve, The Twisted Time, Gallow's Hill

Summary: A Must-Read Book!!!
Review: I read this book in the sixth grade, and usually I don't finish books for about a week or longer, but I couldn't put Locked In Time down!!! There was never a dull moment in this book, and the suspense was heavy right up to the last page. Locked In Time is about a girl who's dad is getting remarried to a woman named Lisette. She has two kids, Josie and Gabe. Nore starts getting suspicious about the two of them when Josie is talking about a fire at a circus Josie claimed she went to just a few years ago, but Nore knows it isn't true because her mom said that happened when she was a small child. I recommend this book to people who love mysteries!!! You won't be able to put this book down!!!

Summary: Locked in a book
Review: Locked in Time is a novel about a family of two. The daughter, Nore, and her father move to live with their new family in Shadow Grove, an old plantation. The stepmother, Lisette, is a beautiful woman who looks extremely young. Her two children, Josie and Gabe, are also very good looking. Josie, 13, wears a lot of makeup and wishes that she was older. Gabe is a tan and very cute guy who developes a crush on Nore. Nore, who does not like the idea of her father remarrying right after her mother's death, is somewhat upset by it all. She soon meets a carpenter who comes to work on the house with his father, Dave, who also developes a slight crush. Nore soon gets used to everything and loosens up a bit. But, as soon as she thought it was safe.... she learned the family's old and terrifying secret.... This book is for teens who like suspense and mystery. The book is somewhat confusing if you havn't raead about voo-doo and magic, though. But, above all, this book is a sure-fire 4 star!
