When I started reading I couldn't put it down. This book was anything but boring. There was always more to find out, another mystery, another reason to keep reading. There was more than just the mystery of finding the missing children. Karen is in real danger as she goes out looking for the kids. Another woman who had powers like Karen got shot because of "the third eye" (that's what the psychic ability is called). Teenagers who like thrilling mysteries would really enjoy this book. Rating: Summary: AWESOME BOOK! Review: This book is just awesome! Basically, it's about an 18-year-old girl who has the special gift, or Third Eye, to locate missing children. The action and suspense start right from the beginning and it was hard to interrupt my reading to do other work. The minute I started reading the book, I was hooked! Lois Duncan uses such vivid and realistic descriptions to bring life to her characters and settings. The words used in descriptions are so inspiring and creative! The plot itself is intriguing and engaging! Believe me, it's hard to put down the book once you start! This is the first book I've read by Lois Duncan and you can bet I'm going to read more of her exceptional novels! If you love suspense, mystery, and a touch of romance, then this is definitely the book for YOU!

Rating: Summary: The All Seeing Eye Review: I thought that The Third Eye was a wonderful book. Lois Duncan did a great job. She made the characters seem so real. I'm not into psychics but the way she developed the story made it intriguing. This book is more of a girl book. It has some romance tied in with mystery, but the way Duncan mixes it makes it more of an action novel than romance. I would recommed this book to sixth graders and up.
Rating: Summary: This book is the best of Lois Duncan so far Review: The third eye is the first book of lois duncan I read. And I absotely loved it. The way it was written, the way the author kept the suspens all of that time it was just great. Personally what I really liked about this book is the fact that the heroin got psychic powers. I was very impressed with this book because the way the author made it look so real. Usually scifi film are way better than the book because the book just lack of everythinig that make it real and exiting. but in lois duncan's book it's diffrent there is always something that happen that you had no idea that will come. It exiting all the way because of the way the author keep the suspens also the way she describes things. I personally loved the heroin Karen, her powers seeing missin children, and also the way that cop who I think actually got a crush on her kinda force her to use her power. But what was real good was the plot. Can you imagine a cop takes a girl of 18 without permission from her parents to find kidnapped babies. Okay I better stop writing or I'm gonna tell the all story. this book really deserve its 5 stars and so does all the lois duncan's books.
Rating: Summary: The Third Eye Review Review: The Third Eye by Lois Duncan is great. This book was reveling the life of a teenage girl with a gift that she doesn't want. This is an oddly interesting book with a super natural twist. In the third eye there is a teenage girl with a gift, she doesn't really want. When Karen turned 18 her gift came to her, but by accident. Now that she has the gift of finding missing children she has many decisions to make. She is slowly getting sucked in to using her gift. Her biggest decision to make is whether to use or lose her gift. This is an oddly interesting book. I really loved this book but, if you don't like supernatural stories you would not like this. This is a sad funny dramatic and different kind of book. The only weakness I found is the way the author introduces different characters and that is the authors fault. This was very well written. It had an easy to fallow plot and was intriguing at the same time. This is an excellent and enjoyable book for everyone. Many different tastes would like this, because it is very vertical. This book is unusual and fun. This is an awesome book to read, and so you should really read it.

Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: The Third Eye was a wonderful book filled with twists, suspense, the supernatural, and secrets. I have read other Lois Duncan books such as Twisted Window, Stranger With My Face, Down a Dark Hall, and Don't Look Behind You, but I think this is the best one yet. I've found that sometimes it hard to believe the things that happen in her books, but this tale of ESP definitily could've happened. I recommend this book to everyone who likes to read about the unknown.
Rating: Summary: Review for "The Third Eye" Review: The story The Third Eye by Louis Duncan has many interesting and exciting stories within this huge adventure. It is about Karen Connor and her physic abilities that she tries to hide throughout the novel. Her strange abilities continually come back to haunt her even when she tries very hard to ignore them. Karen tries to put it all behind her, when at the worst time, the dreams start coming. She dreams about children all over the world stuck in certain places. She actually feels their pain and hears their thoughts. The trauma doesn't get any better when reporters call and she makes the news. Calls start coming in from all over by parents needing help to find their lost children. She is now someone she didn't even know before because of her third eye. Without a doubt, I would definitely recommend this book to everyone. It has a lot of suspense, and you'll never want to put the book down. It has foreshadowing and even a little romantic plot. I got so into it that when I had to stop reading it, if a character was scared, I would be scared in real life. If a character was sad or happy, I would be sad or happy. I never lost interest anywhere in the story, and I feel that anyone who reads this, will love it!
Rating: Summary: Best Book Review: This is the best book I have read in a few years. This book wil keep you up all night flipping pages to the very end. The author wrote the most adventurous, interesting, and powerful novels ever!!!
