Summary: It's one of those books you stay up all night reading.
Review: I thought the book was very original and real. I stayed up reading it all night, I just couldn't stop!!! I think it's great for people who like to read original and unique stories. I think people who liked this book should also check out Mr. Was by Pete Hautman.

Summary: A must read book!
Review: 16 year old Vivian falls in love with Aiden,a "meat boy", a human. But being a werewolf she must keep far away from from him. But rules were made to be broken right? Untill she accidently participates in The Ordeal and names herself Gaberial's mate. How can she marry a man she despises and fall in love with the enemy?

An exciting book I recommend for 13&up.

Summary: Extraordinary!
Review: I've never read such a wonderful book in a long time. The story of Vivian and Aiden was excellent and Klause's words brings the whole story to life. This book is worth it even if it is a hardcover.

Summary: ~WOW~ THIS WAS A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME LOVE STORY!
Review: Wow! When I first got this book in the mail I read it last out of all the books, and not because it looked like the best, but because I had read the first 4 pages and thought, "This is stupid." I WAS WRONG! This was beautifully done with an out-standing plot, some good strong characters and timeless in reading us teens in the perfect was! I thought this was a beautiful love story and showed that 'you don't know what u have untill it's gone' and that 'you should always learn about people before you dis-gaurd them right off the bat'. READ THIS BOOK! If you love romance, teen issues and plenty of fiction this is soooo for you!! Thank you Klaus for such a great book!! Grey

Summary: I never read such a intence book
Review: This is the most intence and true book I've ever read. It's unbelievably realistic and sad. With a heart-wrenching story in an mesmerising tale, "Blood and Choclate" is sensual and seductive. I loved this book and "The Silver Kiss". They both tell the true lives the Mistical creatures of the night. These tales are told so wondefuly that you may feel yourself there and understand each character so completely it's breath-taking.

Summary: I couldn't put it down!
Review: Omigod. I love the cover art (cliff neilsen)! He also did "Dragon's Bait", by Vivan Vande Velde, another excellent book. Vivan (in blood and chocolate) is such a strong and darned realistic character! I totally understand the way she feels about Aiden and even Gabriel. She longs for companionship but none of her own kind are good enough. Then Aiden comes along and it's all so sweet! I'm hooked on these type of books and this one is one of the BEST ever! Read the Silver Kiss too. That's a vampire novel by the same author.

Summary: A warm, exciting book about love.
Review: There are still a few things that confuse me about the book, but overall I enjoyed the plot. It is one girl's struggle to find herself and to connect with someone. She doesn't bond strongly with the Five, wolf-kind of the same age as her. She seeks to find comfort with humans, which may be dangerous if her true self is discovered. The ending is worth the wait of the book, but I don't find that the book dragged much at all. It was almost like the adult female author was the teenager she wrote about. Perhaps in many ways, she was. This book is not just about werewolves; I think it is about love.

Summary: What geat fun!
Review: Even as an adult, I was instantly and joyously entranced by this book! First, I was drawn in by the title, then the gorgeous art work on the cover beckoned me, and then as I read the book jacket blurb, I found that the subject matter was absolutely (please forgive me the use of this phrase) to die for! And the story that followed lived up to every expectation and exceeded them. I felt immediately immersed in Vivian's world and thouroughly enjoyed being transported there by the author's smooth, vividly discriptive, well-written prose. It was a great ride from the very first paragraph to the very last. In fact, I enjoyed Blood and Chocolate more than any adult book I've read in the same genre for quite some time. I would definitely recommend it to werewolf and horror fans of all ages and look forward to reading it again myself in the future.
