Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK IS GREAT! Review: i read this book because i had just finished reading "the silver kiss", also by annette curtis klause, and i couldn't put it down. I finished it the same day...the plot is well crafted, it's smart, sexy, and has a twist of plot. i would recommend this to people who are interesting in different types of creatures (vampires, werewolves, witches etc etc), and i really liked it. however...it should come in paperback...
Rating: Summary: Here we go, baby, a good book for all of you! Review: I'm a werewolf lover. In other books I like, such as the Night World series by L. J. Smith, werewolves are treated as second class by the vampires and witches. Here, though, it was a little different because their only competition were the humans, and they were clearly superior to them. With its sweetly smooth plot that included slight twists that may gave one shivers, and sexy characters that are truly THERE in your mind and the beautiful choice of words, this book is one anyone who is old enough should read. Even those a little nervous about the concept of werewolves will find themselves swept away by the story so that they forget thier nervousness. Something for everyone in this masterpiece. A sequel would be nice, what do you think, friends?
Rating: Summary: This book is near flawless!!!! Review: This book is one fo the best books that I have ever read. It is full of suspense and I think that it's one of the scariest books today. This book will keep you awake and you won't be able to stop reading until you get to the very end of it. It has a great plot and I'm sure that everyone will understand what is going on in the story and how everything leads to the climax. I will recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense and horror. This book is GREAT!
Rating: Summary: Definitely an ºAwESoMeº novel..... Review: This book is just ºGrEaTº...the story, and all the poetic words Annete Curtis Klause used in th book...I couldn't stop reading it...the whole thing of this book is ºAwEsOMeº...this is definitely a º5 StaRsº book....:)
Rating: Summary: NEVER read a better book Review: Oh, that has got to be the best book ever! Vivian, the pack, and her "meat" friends jump off the pages and dance the story in your mind. You feel Vivian's confused thoughts. You BECOME Vivian. You feel the love, the hurt. The story of the pack's day-to-day lives become one with your own. Annette Curtis Klause has deffinatly created a master piece.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding, different, compelling..... Review: I thought Annette Curtis Clause gave this book a life of it's own! It was so good I had to read it twice! The outrageous story of a werewolf told with such life that you feel as if your right there as she transforms, as the story unravels itself. Amazing...
Rating: Summary: smart, sexy, bad ending Review: Vivian is a werewolf belonging to a pack. Since her father (he was their leader)died, the pack has been at eachother's throats. Vivisn feels that she doesn't belong there. At school she talks to no one and no one will ever talk to her. Until one day a picture she painted was put into the school newpaper and she noticed a writing by a boy name Aiden and decided to meet him because he wrote of Werewolves so well it seemed as if he should be one. She falls in love with him. But when Gabriel (werewolf, tall, broad shoulders, arrogant) decides he wants her for a mate she has to decide which world she wants to live in and with who. Very believable depiction of werewolves.
Rating: Summary: Blood and Chocolate was one of best books I ever had read. Review: My friend actually found the book first and she showed to me during a class in school. I took the book and started to read chapter one to see how good it is. I was hooked from that moment on.I was so hooked that I actually stole the book from my friend and kept on reading all the day during classes and between when I can. I was done when the day was over and I proudly handed it over to my friend, and told her I finished reading the book and how it was really good. She got mad that I actually finished the book first (she was only on chapter 2 or 3 by then). Her fury towards me was worth it!
Rating: Summary: This is definately a great book in the werewolf field! Review: I loved it! Not only did the main character seem at least somewhat human, she was easy to understand and relate to. I plan to buy this book soon, becuase I read it at the library. I was quite entranced. In fact, I finished it the same night that I started it. I love werewolf books, and if you really enjoyed this one, you could try "The Silver Wolf" by Alice Borchardt, which, for some reason, reminded me of this book. They aren't very alike, so don't expect it that way. "The Silver Wolf" takes plance in Rome at the beginning of the Middle Ages; there's a difference. Anyhow, both have female teen-age werewolves and I loved both books. Some of the reviews found "Blood and Chocolate" wanting, but I can't understand why. SOme of the people did not even READ the book, it seems.
Rating: Summary: Great Read, so Go get it! Review: Blood and Chocolate was a great book. Def. better than the Silver Kiss. This Story of love , disions, and growing up , kept my intrest threw the whole book. I couldnt put it down...The only complaint i had was that, it left you hanging at the end.I think there should be a sequle. It would be a best seller. Any one with me on that one?
