Rating: Summary: Awesome book! Review: This is is one of favorite books! I too, like many others, finished it the first night I bought it. I recommend it to everyone. It's got everything: Romance, suspense, horror, humor. Excitement. There have been many books that I have bought that I could barely get through, because they were so boring. This was NOT one of them. So go buy it, borrow it, steal it, do whatever it takes to read this book.
Rating: Summary: By Far The Most Attractive Book I Have Ever Read Review: I absolutely adore this book. The cover of Blood and Chocolate, though attractive, barely does its text justice. This book can in no way be easily forgotten- no matter what types of books you may favor, this one will touch you. As a teenager with little time to spare, I grunted at its over 250 page length, but once I began to read, I no longer thaught of its length, but rather anxiously wondered what will happen next! I will not give away the plot, but if you love reading mysterious, scary, inspirational, vengeful, mortifying, and cruel stories (seasoned with love and passion) I cannot stress enough how much this book calls out to you! One of my favorite things about this book is its maturity level. Even though the book is centered around the life of a teenage girl, it attracts audiences of all ages. Blood and Chocolate is a mixture of what many people like me often long for, but seldom find---dont pass this one up! It was my favorite and It could be yours ;)
Rating: Summary: Beautiful story Review: I loved this book. Vivian is a compelling character- a girl with unique problems but I could still relate. It was nice to see a story about a girl with complex desires; it is easy to be drawn to her. The storyline had a great mix of romance, the supernatural, and teen angst. Unlike other books marketed towards teens it wasn't floofy and artificial. The writing is dark and rich- it even has a suprising ending. I highly reccommend buying it.
Rating: Summary: Great Read! Review: You are sure to fall in love with the characters because you either love them or hate them. This book was so good. I couldn't put it down from the minute I bought it. The ending will catch you off guard. It is very romantic. This girl tries to get a boy to like her for what she really is and he can't accept her. This book is written with such passion it makes me wish that Annette Curtis Klause would write more books than she has.
Rating: Summary: Great Story Review: This book had a great storyline; the characters were well developed, but even knowing them didn't mean you could predict the ending. A good book is one that keeps you on edge at all times- and this is one of those books.
Rating: Summary: A good book Review: I thought this was agood book because it brings together romance and the supernatural in one book about a girl named Viviann
Rating: Summary: Absorbing! Review: I really wasn't sure what to think when I saw this book at the school library, but it seemed interesting. I absolutely loved it. Vivian was very real, and I could understand what she was thinking. She adored both her lives, "wolf" and human. I wasn't fond of any of the characters, but I liked the way they interacted. I recommened this book to my romance-nut friend, because the book is a romance. Yet, the true romantic-relationship that the book ends with is definitly not what you think it will be. It was so much better than the stereotypical monster/person romances that we see so much. I prefered this ending much better. It was more realistic than a fairy-tale, we-can-make-it-work, romance.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book I have ever Read! Review: I have read all of Annette Curtis Klause's books and this is by far the best she has written. I wouldn't recommend this for a younger teen. You have to be somewhat mature to read this book. It is a great book and you should definitely read it.
Rating: Summary: An old Favorite Review: I was looking through my old book collection and I found this book buried along my other old favorites like Conpanions of the Night by Vivian Vande Velde. This book is one of the few books under young adults that told a story well enough for me to enjoy it. I happen to favor vampires over wereanimals but this was much better than The Silver Kiss. I highly recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Fabulous! Review: Are you tired of ordinary, run-of-the-mill romances? Tired of the same gruesome horror stories? Well, if you want to be shocked into the reality of a real werewolf, read Blood and Chocolate! This entralling read is possibly one of (if not the) best books I've ever read! It is absolutely fabulous. And, the ending is wonderful! At first I didn't like it, but, once I thought about it, it was perfect! Vivian is a complex character and I absolutely fell in love with her! You must read this book, it will blow you away!
