Summary: Not your average teenage fiction
Review: I do not usually read books from the so-called "teen fiction" genre, and the alleged theme of Blood and chololate did not entice me to buy the book at first. "Teenaged female werewolf trying to blend into her human life in the suburbs".It sounded like a low-budget Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff at first, but once I started reading it it seemed quite the opposite.

The main character Vivian, despite her superficial perfection, is a person many youths can relate to, and her increasing infatuation with the wonderfully poetic, romantic Aiden Teague is also no alien emotion to the average fifteen year old, either. Near the beginning, Vivian strives both to be original in her artistic endeavours and to also be accepted into the student body and to make friends with at least someone.

Her human life is counter-reacting with who she really is, however, and that is a loup-garou. Her mother is putting increasing pressure on Vivian to become a prominent member of the Pack, if not then somebody's mate. The only youths her age are part of a dumb biker-gang that had no regards for order and women's rights, I'm afraid, and for her, Aiden is the sole refuge from her alternate life.

Klaus tells the storey with a wonderful fluid simplicity, and while the ending took a comprimising twist, Blood and Chocolate is a book well worth reading.

Summary: WHAT A GREAT BOOK!!!!
Review: "BLOOD & CHOCOLATE" is an amazingly deep book. Defintly the best book Annete Curtis Klause has ever wrote. Its about a young girl who dos'nt know which world she belongs in. You see Vivain Gandillon, the girl, is girl by day and werewolf at night. Then she falls in love with a human, Aiden Teague. She believes that he while understand her. But will he really. This book is sensational. The twist and turns of the characters relationship. the deep feeling of love, sadness, anger, trust, and humor is perfect for this story. Even though some parts were boring, it was a great book.

Summary: GAVE ME GOOSBUMPS
Review: WOW! This book, gives me goosebumps. I mean, it comebines the lifes of werewolves, and humans, and when they mix. Humor, romance, terror. This book has it all! Annette Curtis Klause's Blood and Chocolate shines! One of the best books I've ever had the liberty to read. If I were Roger Ebert I'd give it: "Two Thumbs way up!!". READ THIS BOOK!

Summary: Blood and Chocolate: not a mix for everyone!
Review: Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause is a heart-pounding ride through the life of Vivian Gandillon. Vivian is a werewolf with a troubled past. After her father, the head of their pack, dies she and the rest of the pack are forced to move. There she meets Aiden Teague, a "meat boy". Aiden's human and although Vivian loves him her ties to the moon are stronger and when she reveals her true form to him he turns her away, thinking her a hidious beast. After Aiden, Vivian finds a new love, a werewolf as well, who shows her that although her love for Aiden was great it wasn't real and he shows her that love is being accepted for who you are and not for you outer skin. Blood and Chocolate takes you through the passion filled, emotional spiral of Vivian's life as she goes through her two lovers to find herself. I would definetly reccomend this group to teenagers. Boys would probably find this book rather boring though considering that it leans more to the emotional side of things.

Summary: A great Book
Review: I thought this was a ripping book, and is one of the best books written. It talks about a girl who lost her father and meets a nice boy named Aiden. She loves him, but when she reveals her true self, he despises her. I wouldn't want to ruin the ending for you, but all I can tell you is that the ending has a tragic and happy event. Its a great book for any young teen reader!!

Summary: Blood and Chocolate Review
Review: I loved this book! I just got it becuase I was bored and needed something suspenseful. Was I in for a surprise when I ended up loving it - i couldnt put it down! 16 year old Vivian is a werewolf, and beautiful. The crude, harsh "pack friends," The Five, are always trying to win her heart in their own way. But she wants something different. Thats why she falls in love with a human/meat boy who wrote a poem about the change between wolf and human and is interested in magic. She relizes with horror that he might not be as trustworthy as he seems, and that possibly werewolves and humans cannot ever live in peace, respecting each other. Its a great book!

Summary: I couldn't put it down!
Review: At first galnce I never thought twice about the book. But out of curiousity I checked it out of my school library. As I went home I began reading and by the time I got home I was already hooked! I enjoyed the book because the characters had so much to lose. They all had deep secrets they were harboring and couldn't afford to lose them. Some were driven the edge to protect their secrets. I feel that Blood And Chocolate ia a well written piece of literature. I found it very erotic and thrilling. I enjoyed it so much I'd read it again. Or I'd buy my own personal copy.

Summary: I wish I was Vivian
Review: Blood and Chocolate was one of the best books I have ever read. I absolutly was drawn to all the charcters in the book. I have recommened it to all my friends who in the end tell they loved it espacially the charcter Gabriel. Vivian is a beautiful and talented girl, who's pack has basically been destroyed by a fire which took Vivian's father. When Vivian is living a Rudy's to while the pack is trying to get back on it's feet. Vivian's drawing is desplayed in a magazine next to Aiden's poem ("Meat boy"). Vivian seeks Aiden out. They kind of hit is off and. All kinds of horror and romance. I could put the book down. I doubt anyone that read it so far every put it down.

Summary: Let's just say it's got a spine-tingling ending!
Review: Blood and Chocolate was an excellent book about werewovles. It's about a girl who tried to show the boy that she loves her true self but he doesn't like what she is. Besides, there have been some killings lately and the police are getting worried, ans she is afraid it might be her. But I won't tell you any more because you'll need to read it to find out! This is the best book of its kind I have ever read because it takes you to a day that is modern yet it has the twist of the past inside it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes to read about things that can't really happen or we hope not because then we would be just like the book. If you want a final comment about the book, let's just say it has a spine-tingling ending!
